Yes! The 1st 4 or 5 seasons were great, but the more they focused on Urkel and his clumsiness, wacky inventions, and off-beat humor, they lost their identity. It stopped being about the family and became more about Urkel. I get that he was a breakout star in the show, but his brilliance cast a shadow on his cast mates and it caused division and chaos behind the scenes. Case and point, Jo Marie Payton, who played Harriet, left before the 9th season b/c reportedly, her and Jaleel were about to fight behind the scenes.

I disagree. Majority of hispanic men aren't going out of their way to marry white and black women. They mostly stick with their own. Black men are obsessed with lighter complexion, straight hair, and non-black women. The difference in why black men like Umar and most black women feel a way is because black people only make 14% of the population. Hispanics come in all races because yall are not a race. The more black people date out, the more we have the probability of decreasing in population. What makes this world so beautiful is the melanin that all races have and if blacks no longer exist, this world would be very boring and everyone will look the same.

Again you guys are so misinformed. You do know a black woman sabotaged his chances of getting funding for his school. He was about to get a 2 million dollar endorsement from an NBA player, he wouldn't name him out of privacy. This chick them shows up with BS sexual text that don't even sound like some shit he would say. But again the world will believe a lying as woman over a truth telling man any day. Those are Facts!!!!! Researching is so easy even a caveman can do it.

Deuteronomy 7:3. God doesn't see things the same way. I'm going to trust in the Most High
@driley19882 күн бұрын
@@williamwashington-ey7lk people always seem to take that out of context. There's no mention about race. It's not about race it's ultimately about religion. Back in Israel’s early days, God required the Jewish people to only marry other Jews. They couldn't marry canaanites. Not because of race but because foreigners worshiped other gods and did not follow the God of Israel. I noticed you didn't mention 7:4 and it says, "for they will turn your children away from following me to serve other gods." So that tells you it doesn't have to do with your skin color or race but religion. That's just like getting a Christian and having them marry a atheist who doesn't believe in God it doesn't mix.

Family Matters is iconic. The difference between that show and the shows he compared it to is that Family Matters was more for families and all ages while the other shows were more “young adult” / “grown folk” geared, and therefore were more unapologetically black with tons of black cultural references and jokes. All of the shows were good, though.

It's possible since he's much older now but it would be a hard sell for any movie or series directors to cast him in other roles... Once you're typecast like an Adam Sandler, Kramer in Seinfeld among others you just have to ride that role till the wheels fall off.. Adam Sandler is worth almost $500M playing the same buffoonish character over and over. Jaleel could have pursued that same template and used it to his advantage, not sure why he didn't..

I don't know what Jaleel is talking about I think most black people consider "Family Matters" a great show its definitely a top 10 "black sitcom" ever. What type of accolades is he looking for? He created a iconic character that made him world famous that is still referenced to till this very day. I think Jaleel just has a problem with black people in general because "Family Matters" got its flowers then and now the problem isn't us so called black people the problem is him.

Don't call Jaleel a so-called "bunny hopper." Sometimes, a lot of black women aren't checking for square black men. As a man, you got to go where you're wanted and appreciated. Can't make it with a woman who thinks you're "corny." Because everyone knows that if a woman thinks you're corny they won't respect you.
