He’s not completely wrong. The bigger issue is colorism and the treatment of dark skin women. A lot of dark skin men go out of their way to pedestalize lighter women and trash dark skin women. Light skin men get hated on a lot nowadays but it seems like they don’t degrade dark skin women nearly as much as dark skin men do. That’s c why he said “leave light skin brothers alone” because both black men and women clown them on the internet

Yea I learned that just because someone has the same skin color as you, same culture does not mean you have the same values, hobbies, interests. Also putting yourself into one ethnic group for dating is just stupid

I don’t know if y’all do more bunny hopping but I do feel as if dark skinned men are harsher to dark skinned women than light skinned men. Most times when I see somebody talking down on black women it’s usually a dark skinned man. The ones who talk bad about the natural hair in my profile it’s almost 100% of the time a dark skinned man. When someone talks down on my skin color it’s almost 100% of the time a dark skinned man. So I don’t think it’s too far off to think if they think negatively about attributes I find positive ( my hair, skin color, being a black woman) then they would find the opposite more attractive/ a better option. I think the vast majority of black men love black women but the negativity usually comes from dark skinned black men. Oddly enough when I speak on colorism and being discriminated against by my own people light skinned men tend to be more understanding than darker skinned men. Just my 2 cents

Yeah I think the premise of this clip is more about standing up for light skin men than it is about”policing” who bm date. Light skin men get hated on a lot in the community by both genders (even by light skin women). I’ve actually heard quite a few light skin men date outside the race because black women just prefer dark skin men over them. And yes when it comes to disrespect it mostly comes from ds men. My theory is childhood trauma from bullying is the reason they do it. Also wanting lighter kids so they don’t have to go through what they went through

I just wanted to say I don't see anything wrong with it myself I just can't stand how he constantly does it for black men but won't do it for black women. The amount of cooning that a lot of black women do in the black community is ridiculous it's just as absurd as the black men who do it but he doesn't talk about black women.

As black man myself I’ve seen all ethnicities of women. I’m not putting myself in a box to only date black woman. I only like Asian, white, Spanish women. The other ethnicities of women are still beautiful I just won’t be romantically involved with them. I don’t know why a grown man would worry about another man’s genitals 😭😭😭😭😭😭. Umar Johnson, Pro blacks, FBA blacks are the only group of people who worry about who a black man dates. In the black community a black man is treated like a slave or like property. A black man is the only one that’s forbidden 🚫 to date outside his race. Yet when black woman does it nobody says anything. A grown man is gonna do what he wants. He will date whatever ethnicity of woman he wants regardless of the ethnic background he comes from. Umar niece got caught marshmello hopping ain’t he ain’t say nothing 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Her husband is white nothing wrong with that. I personally don’t think there’s anything wrong with interracial relationships. People should worry about their own romantic partners and not others. Love is love.
