My four year old son and I watch all your videos together, as well as other soap making videos and other creative things. The first thing my son said when I turned on this video today was “Wait, where’s the girl? WAIT, he’s a boy like me!!!” Maybe I’m giving it more meaning than a four year old meant, but it I really think it meant so much to him to see a boy making something pretty and doing something creative. Thanks for inspiring boys, Kenny. Your videos are always so fun.

I very much appreciate the amount of cello in this episode. Also, I choose Watson. In a lot of (especially older) Sherlock Holmes renditions Watson gets the rep of being the stupid comic relief character of the show, but that massively underestimates the character I think. He's not as smart as Holmes himself, but he is smart enough that Holmes is willing to spend a lot more time with him than with any other person, which makes him probably still very smart, while a lot more socially capable :D

FABULOUS job with the soap! I really think everyone should read the Sherlock Holmes books. They are quite accessible while still being historical, and they still hold up today very well, which is why they’ve been adapted so many times. The Hound of the Baskervilles was one of the assigned books I read in school that I genuinely enjoyed reading. Which is weird to say since I really enjoy reading and I love doing analysis of literature (and media in general), but I don’t always enjoy the initial act of reading that literature. Edit: to the QOTD, I would prefer Watson because he’s still brilliant but has his shit together. And he’s a doctor! That’s really freaking cool. As a disabled person I really appreciate the medical profession and know how much of a difference compassionate care can make in someone’s life.

So I'm loving the color combo, and I'm loving the mustache for Watson! The only possible thing I can think of to try differently is just a personal taste thing: instead of rivers of silver you could use a toothbrush to splatter the silver across the tops (maybe like blood spatter from investigating murders, or his work as a Dr). My favorite Sherlock Holmes book and movie (1959) is The Hound of the Baskervilles. Peter Cushing is an amazing Sherlock ❤ My great aunt gave me a very old copy of the book. Love the layers and color of the soap.
