Thanks so much! This is one of the most dynamic amps we've seen in a long time! Can't wait to get more in the shop! - Sage

This is my favorite demo of this amp. Its a great representation of what its really like to play one. I send folks here when they say "isn't that a country amp". This thing is LOUD too, and takes pedals super well. Cheers, and thanks y'all

Soooo agreed. It’s always such a disappointment when I go and amp or guitar and it’s somebody ripping tired licks the entire time.

Really fine demo. Your focus on what a player can achieve with pick attack and guitar controls was much appreciated. More amp demos should do this rather than spend 90% of the demo on high-gain lead tones.

That amp sounds like county music, in the good way, with all 3 pickups! You demonstrated it perfectly. Volume levels, arpeggiating chords, right on! Thank you.

Yes!!!!! Thankfully someone who understands to start Z amps with everything at noon and then work from there. But everything is perfect at noon on this one.

This is a FANTASTIC sounding amp! Nice playing! Nice voicing on those chords. Love the bassy, throaty quality. Matches up really well with what this amp does. Reminds me of a 5e3 on 2, but BETTER! Definitely tighter. It has seriously rich tone. As I get deeper into hybrid picking, and developing my right hand, I can see how this kind of amp works...and truly , it sounds fantastic!

Sadly my Blues Junior has only taken me so far as a player... if the stars align this amp may be in my future. Honestly I can’t believe how just by adjusting the volume knob you can get so many tones. I’m thinking about buying a z wreck jr because I want to become a better guitar player.

@maxpeck4154 Жыл бұрын
@@daviddorrian5349 Umm, no. It was sarcasm. He played 3 guitars, 2 of which also had neck pickups, and never once switched to the neck pickup. Some of us would like to hear the neck pickup also.
@daviddorrian5349 Жыл бұрын
@@maxpeck4154 I was also being sarcastic. Although he didn't change pick ups I think it's a bloody fantastic demo. Gave me everything I needed to know, sounds phenomenal. I ended up with the amp. Neck pick ups sound cool too if your on the fence about that aspect. Are you considering the amp?
@maxpeck4154 Жыл бұрын
@@daviddorrian5349 Oh, ha! My sarcasm detector is on the fritz today. I've always dug those amps, and really any amp with Vox DNA, but I'm not in the market at the moment. I agree, it sounded great. It's just a little bit funny when it's assumed that everyone wants a gained-up bridge pickup sound. I spend 75% of my time on the neck pickup, volume control rolled back to 5 with the amp just at the edge of breakup with the reverb set to dreamy and fingerpicking with a little vibrato thrown in. 🤓

Damn good demo! Curious your thoughts on this versus the Nova?
@daviddorrian5349 Жыл бұрын
This by a country mile. I bought the NOVA and instantly regretted it, Wasted £2699. Trying to sell it now. As soon as I had it side by side with this I never wanted to plug back into the NOVA. But thats not to say the NOVA Is a bad amp. Its super Hi-Fi but for the way I play and what I like from am amp it's miles off. Would be a dream for the right player.

Is it Gluten free? Does it chug? How come it doesn't have feedback at the end of a sustained note like a 40K original Trainwreck?

Best demo of this amp I’ve seen so far. I had a Maz Jr about 10 years ago and loved it, but I am lusting after the tones I’m hearing coming out of this amp. I’ve heard others say that the Z Wreck Jr is even more versatile than the Maz and that the Wreck can do everything the Maz can do, but the Maz can’t do everything the Wreck can do? Would you say that’s accurate? So torn between these two...
@Scotts418864 жыл бұрын
adamjs69 never played the maz, but the wreck jr is unbelievable. The gain versatility using the preamp volume and the special master volume gives so much variety.
