The Lesser Demon in the Library is special. Lesser Demons do show up as regular enemies later, but only the one in the Library can summon Mudmen. And that Library Lesser Demon summoning Mudmen is the only way to encounter Mudmen, for those looking to fill out the bestiary

@@FernandoRafaelNogueiraReis that one or the later ones. You can skip the Mini Boss Lesser Demon and still fill out the bestiary Lesser Demon entry with the regular Lesser Demons. Only the Mudmen is the entry you'd miss by skipping the Mini Boss

Yeah, this games plays loose with monster ID. I remember trying hard to get a special (strength?) ring, only dropping from one monster. Welp, turns out it does NOT drop from that monster's 1st placement, only the much later 2nd. They are not really the same monster.

I finished this game upwards of 25 times and I didn't knew at least half of the glitches you used for this single run, lmao PS: Also, this has to be the best speedrun video-essay I've seen. Small correction if I may. Subtracting 0 - 1 and ending up with a big number is just a negative overflow, it's still an overflow. An underflow is when you get a super small decimal number (e.g. 0.00...1) that it cannot store the digits due to technical limitations so it just rounds down to 0.
