Concreto y conciso. ¡Gracias!

Finally a helpful video! My Draceana Massengeana continues to get brown and yellow leaves, but only the bottom.. I feel like I've tried everything but have been using tap water and only most once in a while. I live in western Canada so the air here in the winter is SO dry. I will try these tips and see if I can save my plant.

Thank you! I am having SUCH a hard time with my plant. I moved her away from the window because I think the indirect sunlight (we get a lot) was making it brown. I am going to try using a humidifier just in case though. I typically spray it once a week but no progress. It is also mixed in with a Money plant. I don't know if that is a issue or not.

This may be because of lack of humidity, how’s the air around your dracaena ? You don’t have to prune these. But you can and it will promote healthy growth (just make sure you provide humidity and she will be happy :-))

Unfortunately I had to travel for work for multiple months and left my dracaena neglected during that time. It is still alive but I would say about 1/4 of the leaves have turned brown. How should I save the dracaena? Should I remove all of the completely dead leaves and trim the brown tips? What else can I do to ensure it revives/survives?

Hello nice video so does that go for fertilizing does do they like fertilizing ? Because because last week I fertilized it and leaves are turning brown and yellow some of them so what do I do ?🤷🏾♀️
@PlantsandLucia2 жыл бұрын
Hi! This is a great question. It may have reacted to the type of fertilizer or the amount. Maybe for now stop fertilizing and observe how she does. Also check if there could be another cause for the leaves turning brown/yellow. If you are starting with fertilizer, I'd recommend you begin with a mild one. Here is a playlist I have on fertilizer for houseplants: kzbin.info/aero/PLVX8D19ueuA8AXx10bEwX0Gw4anQiuflF Hope this helps!

In my case, it's underwatering, I know, i forgot all dracenas twice in a row, and one benjamina. benjamina almost died, now it's recovering, but dracenas really take forever to admit they are angry. one wilted right away, the stump of one started to brown, I chopped it up and leaves are now growing, it just doesn't have the trunk. and this one really sat there for months, and now, after I was out for 10 days, and came back, I see crown of the plant is brown. Should I cut it, to me this looks like the top is dead, and since she's growing from the top, I thought, cutting the top off, maybe would help, maybe new shoots would start to grow, but since it's compacta, I don't know if that's how it works? I don't want to lose her, I haven't seen that type since I got her, and I need her to complete my dracena collection... I have adhd, don't judge for forgetting to water them

Lucia what about fungus when the leaves have black spots surrounded by yellow outline? How can I save my plant?
