​@@Melissa-hd3jrI have read the books and think that that whole series would have been better if Draco had become more redeeming by the end of TGOF. Then joining up secretly with the golden trio in TOOTP, during HBP, we could have seen more of his struggle between doing what was right and still trying to save his parents. Then a full redemption arc halfway through TDH. I'm not even a big fan of Hermione, I don't dislike her, however I find her bit annoying. Even if they didn't end up together romantically, it still would have been better. 99% of the characters were written as either good or bad, and that's just not the truth. And let's face it, if the war had been fought like it was depicted Voldemort's army would have conquered and won. If your enemy is using weapons that kill you and you're just using defensive maneuvers so that you can run away you are not going to win. With how freely JK.R killed off the characters, I don't understand why she didn't make the aspects of war more realistic.

I agree. Rowling could have written that Draco realized he was acting out of wrong motives. He could be motivated by the wish to be able to do it all over again and become the golden Trios spy. Hermione would be the only one who believes that people can change, causing them to become closer automatically. Eventually he realizes that being pureblood isn’t everything. Instead pf Narcissa, he could have been the one to help Harry survive. I think that would have given the book a better twist. Like enemies don’t have to stay enemies forever out of pride and having a common goal can make people overcome everything. It would have underlined the „standing together against Voldemort“ part better my opinion.

They would have been good together - she would have brought brought out his good side & allowed him to be vulnerable and weaker when with her & he would have taught her to relax and not take stuff so serious & to break a rule or 2 - In the begining she was scared about getting expelled etc and constantly studying - with him she would probably have let her hair down a little, And with her he would probably be nicer & not bully so much - plus it would have given him a chance at redempton because his family didnt like muggles & she was a muggle and i would have loved to have seen him tell his dad where to go about he loves her etc

They would have been good together - she was the good girl who is clever, beautiful & pure hearted, He was the bad boy with a big heart that no-one could see who he truly was except her, She would have brought out his good side & helped him become softer, And he would have brought out her more fun side and helped her relax more They are opposites and opposites attract - plus she was a muggle who he learnt to love & also he was terrified of her which most men are scared of their missus 😂

Well this pairing isnt random. There are many reasons why this ship is somewhat popular. J.K Rowling said dramione was her original plan before ronmione, the actors had offscreen chem(emma liked him), there are many muggleborns in the school, yet shes the one he picks on the most. i think that might because he can't accept the fact that he might not entirely hate her. He was raised to disrespect muggleborns afterall. And you can tell that he didnt enjoy seeing hermione get tortured. And the fanfic ofc are also rlly great.
