If you want to make your life super easy tear down that 2x2 wall and put 2x1 on top of a 2x1. It will create the snap point to put the 1x1 floor on for you at the perfect height

I have a "master portal hub", usually just next to the map center spawn point, where I use to travel from anywhere to anywhere. Inside that hub building is always a chest with all my "portal fixin's". There's also always a dedicated untagged portal in there for mistakes & emergency travel. Good video, my friend.

My portal hub is beneath the elder alter. It was at a low elevation and not tall enough for a forge, but perfect for about 30 portals. The fire in the center never dies; So even underneath, the bed is always active through any portal without wood use.

Reinforced chests even better since they upgraded it from 18 slots to 24. My big takeaway from this was the character map to get up and down arrows. Love it.

A minimalist idea would be to replace the floor with chests in the single floor space infront of your work stations.

I like the ideas . I have just started playing and started doing this because it's so much materials that its onky logical that this be put in order. I do have a question.. I have seen.people putting the signs IN the chest. I was hoping you woukd do in your video. I have my chest signs like you but inside the chest looks cleaner . Lol great vide. Subbed. Keep it up man

I do something similar, except I delete the lowest chest. It annoys me cause I can't put a separate sign for it

Oh, I totally get that. You could even split the difference on that first shelf and leave a gap at the bottom about half the height of a chest. That way you can put a sign on that but you aren't at the ceiling with your top row of chests either.

That was a mod I was running that gave specific inventory slots to armor, and 3 quick slots for tools.
