Draconian is one of my favourite bands and this song is just NO WORDS.

Draconian is my favorite band, I'm comfortable saying this. I spent 2 years straight listening to only this band when I found them, like 5 years ago. Now I just go back every now and then. But every, album, every song, everything is perfect.

Every time I listen to this song, it's 15 minutes that goes by way too fast. Such a beautiful, powerful and amazing song, a true masterpiece in my opinion. They've been my favorite band for the last 15 years or so now. Thanks for the great reaction!

Such an underrated band. The Failure Epiphany would be a good son of theirs.

If this was one I recommended, thank-you very much. One of the very best doom metal bands, ever. I don't find it too long, at all, but then again, I'm pretty old... And both vocalists are extraordinary.

Such a shame that just hardcore metalheads know this band while their songs are absolute masterpiece. Words can't describe this song... Thanks for the reaction.

This sounded beautiful. You've got to be in the right mood though. I was when I listened this, but I can imagine that there will be times that I would think that this is to moody.

This band have so many superb, emotional, doom laden tracks. Recommend all their albums. A band you have to just simply lay back, and let them take you on a journey of epic gothic despair

Thank you for this! This is not only my favorite song by Draconian, it's also my favorite song of any band, period! Anyone who claims that metal music is just noise and screaming, and that there is no beauty in metal, have never listened to this gorgeous song.

Sounded great beautiful even with that piano and bass towards the end yummm, I just don't know if I wanted it for 15 minutes unless there were a bit more shifting in the dynamics. Great mood hitter and strong finish though.

Everything by Draconian is great, but I highly recommend the newer album "Sovran." The new female singer, Heike Langhans, is simply angelic and haunting. "Stellar Tombs" is a staple due to the awesome music video, but the entire album is golden.
@sonicallydisruptive4 жыл бұрын
I'll check that out. Thanks

My mind on best album was and probably always will be split between Arcane Rain Fell and Turning Season Within. Morphine Cloud still hits hard as it did when I first listened to it in 2008. Four years since I listened to whole Sovran , I miss the emotions both from the album and Heike. Stellar Tombs is acutally the fine example, the song starts and ends 6 minutes later without any surprise or much changes, nothing really happens, I fail to connect and I dont feel a thing. Rivers between us is a lovely piece and top song on the album, hands down. Ps.: Lisa is irreplaceable :))
@Mithrandir-Apkallu4 жыл бұрын
@@Chiquita-CZ To each his own, and I definitely love their earlier work with Lisa, but I also definitely connect to Stellar Tombs. It sends chills down my spine more than anything from previous albums, great as they are. I guess her voice just resonates with me better. I do wish there was more surprise/variation in some of the songs, but it's doom metal, and if I wanted only variation I would stick to death and prog metal. Sometimes when you have a good melody, you stick with it.

I prefer the earlier albums, both because of Lisa and the song writing. This is a fantastic example. I bought all albums, but Sovran.. 😉

This is another great underrated band. You definitely need to do more of them. Check out the song Bloodflower its one of their best. This song is killer but a little long. You should check out the band " In Mourning or Swallow the Sun.

Sounds good. I did Swallow the Sun but it was blocked. And I do know In Mourning, I heard 1 or 2 songs from them and it was cool stuff.
