Love the two singers together. Reminds me of the old classical masters, when they used major and minor together as a sort of contrast. The grain of the male vocal and the softness of the female vocal have such a delightful interplay of opposites. Grand!

Draconian is my favorite band, and for good reason. Since I found them in 2015 with Sovran, nothing beats their music for me. I love many bands, and have a few other favorites. But Draconian will always be tops.

@@Invisible_Difference the only stuff I think that can even come close to Draconian is a band made by their guitarist called Doom:VS. nothing can compare to the beauty or the mixture of vocals, so I focus on stuff that sounds the same musically and instrumentally. October Tide is good too. So is Saturnus snd Shape of Despair.

Эта песня да ....до мурашек обожаю Draconian и впринципе готические группы но в этом альбоме только эта тема цыпанула ...предыдущие 2 альбома понравились больше SOVRAN и ROSE ROR THE APOKALIPSE

you gotta do more doom. My Dying Bride, Paradise Lost, Katatonia... a lot of bands who started out in that but nowadays have a much wider palette came back with really great albums. But also old classics like some Warning, Solitude Aeturnus, Candlemass and such are always great. Atramentus delivered a great album (more of an ep with 2 songs, but it has album length lol), I have been spinning Slow - Oceans as well a lot. Autumn is the perfect time for this sort of melancholic music.

I don't know if you already know this instrumental band, but I strongly recommend The Woven Web by Animals as Leaders. Tosin Abasi (lead guitar) is considered the best guitarist in the world by many. He's ridiculously talented, and the other members of AAL are also very good.
