@@The-bi5ry it’s in the manga. Spoilers. The Syaoran in the beginning is just a clone. He later “died” and reincarnated into the past along with clone Sakura, whom he “killed”. He then had a son named Tsubasa, who turned out to be his original self. In the end, Syaoran, Watanuki, and Tsubasa managed to break the time loop. However, Tsubasa’s existence then became a paradox as he should have been gone with the loop. Tsubasa’s price in the end is to travel forever so that he can continue existing without distorting space-time. A pretty sad story.

It’s kinda sad that kinya isn’t really releasing any songs since...2013? It’s a shame. I mean yeah the anime song genre has shifted in style, but it’s still possible for him to stay in the scene and be relevant. CLAMP stuff are highly regarded, so his portfolio is good. I checked his socials and it looks like he’s just posting videos of him playing games... i mean i’m okay with that but isn’t his main occupation a singer..? I guessed he didn’t really sign up with a major/proper label. Hence why he went under the radar.

Kotani Kinya has been back at his original producer (Daisuke Asakura)'s private label, Darwin, since 2015. His singles barely reach the top 200 these days but still, I think he is doing things he wants to and I admire that. He's hosted a a lot of lives where he has reunited DA family members after many years, and it's heartwarming. 💓 (Of course I would love for him to release more songs though... 😅)
