Dracula has always been an anti-hero. He did what he did in the original story for love! It has been said, ‘any man who has the courage to sell his soul for love, cannot be damned, but can be saved by his own hand.’

Are we talking about the bram stoker movie or book? Cause I heard that in the book Dracula actually doesn’t love Mina he’s just desires her
@Cauin4502 ай бұрын
@@innerpower7924 Dracula lived for over 4 centuries in the hope of finding Elizbetha, the one bright spark in his soul. Desire doesn't last. Love does.

@@innerpower7924 Most of the movies are not based on the book, but the stage play. Stoker Was the personal manager of an actor by the name of Henry Irving, a man he never got on with. Though following the show allowed him to travel the world. Sadly, he didn't not allow his travels to be for research purposes. Instead, he did most of his research at the London Library, many of the mistakes and inconsistencies in the original book can be traced to this as many of the volumes were out of date or were never correct in the first place. Originally, the book wasn't even going to be about Eastern Europe, or any Voicode (Warleader, not Prince) of Wallachia. Part of that was a mistranslation of the word: Dracul, from ‘son of the Dragon,’ to ‘son of the Devil.’ How Dracula came to be. Believe it or not he was originally going to call his main character, Count Wampyr. I, for one, and very glad he changed his mind!

You missed a part in your summary. The turks didnt just come demanding a 1000 boys, Vlad and a few men found a turk scout soldiers helmet, downstream in the river that flowsfrom the mountain where the monster/vampire resides. It killed the scout soldiers but the turks probably taught Vlds men killed them so as an example the new sultan sends a messenger to collct their silver and a 1000 boys which shocks Vlad and everyone since the current sultans father had abolished this practice years ago.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying but got heavily HATED by critics and noncritics alike, it was very sad and distasteful really... Dracula Untold was one of the Best Dracula/Vampire movies I had seen in a decade with how it was produced compared to todays films now being so clownish or weak and what not politically... Yes some today though are still good like Deadpool and some others but I mean the ones that failed to meet expectations mainly, while the overhated things like DU was so unnecessary.

My life is all about vampires. and I did enjoy this movie a lot because of a special reason. Indeed plot is super important and of this there is no doubt, however, when it is about a vampire movie one single thing even exceeds the plot greatness and it is how vampires are depicted in the story or the movie and I must say that because Dracula is depicted as a super powerful vampire in this movie it makes this movie as one of the greatest Dracula movies of all time and that is more than enough for me to love this particular movie. I always say Vampires are the blackholes of the supernatural world and they are the strongest their darkness is indeed unmatched and this movie aims to depict this to some extent and that makes this movie awesome.

correction, the master vampire said that vlad will have the strength of 100 men, the speed of a falling star, to see and hear through the creatures of the night which means he has super enhanced animal senses and he will have dominion over the night and he said vlad can heal from grievous wounds which means he has a healing factor but I'm not sure if it's regenerative or not.

Dracula Untold, after watching and seeing a lot of old vampire movies, even the ones that are in black & white, quite the special classics those are but in the modern day film industry you just don't see them come around like this now without failing politically or some crap... I mean you can just tell when it's on the nose with some of them or if your political cringe meter goes off what I wanna call it 😅👌 anyhow yeah I think Dracula Untold was the best if not last great Vampire movie we had in a decade minus things like Morbius and got hated on extra for no reason... Dracula Untold was phenomenal in my opinion and did everything perfectly, just sad that it got reviewed so badly and received so negatively back by millions of people it feels like online at least when it wasn't a bad movie.

Dracula untold beats all Hellsing universe and all his own unverse threats and equivalent literature level threats. Hellsing ultimate universe Alucard, beats most Literature Vampire inverse threats. Dracula Untold is high up in the rankings of vampires Vlad was made a vampire by the Ancient Original Vampire Methuselah, spurned his kin in ancient times. Was a Hermit and lived in the cave not helping the outside world with his God given wisdom. As punishment by Methuselah's fear'd deity. Has cursed him for his sloth nature and cursed him to never leave the cave, and let wisdom forever posion his mind. To only ever leave the cave if Methuselah Can offer a pure intention'd mortal unadulterated wisdom, and salvation. Only then can Methuselah, walk free. The oldest of Vampires, before the Great floods that wiped out the first of the tainted Humans. The cross thing, well it was an imprinted innate primordial fear that was burned into Methuselah by God. Following Methuselah's apathetic nature being a cave hermit in Enochs mythos. It then follows that only humbled individual vampires who have suffered great trials set by god may raise their heads to begin to repent for their sins. No other then those tainted, and on the way to redemption my but only bow in the crucifixes presence. Only those in good faith may present the crusifix as ward against damnation. As the enoch mythos says anyway in the Dracular untold story

Correction on crusifix..holy items like a cross or places of god like a church do hurt him if you really watched the movie one of the monks that was one of his subjects that turned against him noted his weaknesses to him; sunlight silver and holy things like a cross that didn't hurt him because he didn't drink human blood yet..but after becoming a full vampire it would hurt him if you skip to the part with that monk using his cross to repel the army of vampires it shows draculas pov the cross glows bright red to him
