This was a perfect dracula movie... it sticked to the original storyline,added some extra nice touch to it and the actor is perfect for a younger version of vlad... should have gotten a sequel...

@Sultanate Osmania [Ottoman Empire] are you talking about the real vlad the impaler? Because i don't know that history well. I have read the book but all that says is that vlad vent to war against someone and he won. But the wrong message got home and his wife committed suicide. That is what angered the prince to commit his soul to darkness,making him the 1st vampire....

To defeat the devil(Ottomans and Islam) you have to go the utter darkness. You have to meet the devil in the first place. That was what Jesus did when he came to the earth and defeated the devil .
