The best lecture should be: 1. Planned. 2. Focused 3. Objective 4. Targeted. 5. Avoid unnecessary details

Thank you so much Doc but with all due respect l have to disagree with you on Adductors function. l think that adductors medially rotate at hip joint l know that Snell 9th edition says otherwise but it's not making sense considering the orientation of the fibers (Origin and insertion). Grays and Snell 10th edition think likewise. besides that great job Doc we really appreciate it

@@ Lateral rotation of the thigh: 1. Main lateral rotators: piriformis, obturator internus, obturator externus, superior gemellus, inferior gemellus and quadratus femoris. 2. Assisted by: adductor longus, adductor brevis and adductor magnus. @@ Medial rotation of the thigh: Gluteus medius and gluteus minimus
@AdelBondok2 күн бұрын
I don't agree with Gray's Anatomy; it is not Quran or Bible. Look: the origin of the adductors is from the pubis (medial), while the insertion is into the back of the femur (lateral and posterior). Therefore, when they contract: 1. They pull the femur medially (adduction). 2. They rotate the femur laterally.
@zh6971 Жыл бұрын
@AdelBondok Жыл бұрын
you don't have to know the details of the origin and insertion but at least the part of the bone which gives origin and same for the insertion
is pectineus muscle innervates by 2 nerves?
@AdelBondok Жыл бұрын
Mainly or mostly by the femoral nerve. It may receive fibers from the obturator nerve. It is a transitional muscle between anterior and medial compartment.

@AdelBondok3 жыл бұрын

Gracilis muscle arises from?
@AdelBondok Жыл бұрын
From the outer surface of the inferior pubic ramus.

Subsartorial plexus of nerve is it a content of adductor canal or lies overs the roof?
@AdelBondok3 жыл бұрын
It lies in the roof deep to the sartorius and can be considered from the contents also.

Your explanation is great, but I wish you would reduce the female scenes. They confuse me a lot and they are also against Islam.
