Drae, I know someone said this in a comments in an earlier episode but I don’t think you read it and kept it in mind, but, you can place the map monitors all around the map and it can show different parts of the planet on your map, the map display is based on where the monitors are, so the view of the map that you get is relative to the location of the map monitor that you are using.

I didn't know that. I thought I was going to have to make a new rocket site and a new GPS rocket up in a different part of the map with a Monitor there to see that part.

Actually, it's based on your position in the game, it's just you need to view the Mapping screen to render the view. I took a peak at the code and discovered it uses your Camera to render the map by repositioning it high in the sky when you activate the screen then restores it when you de-activate it.

Btw the new stuff crafts on the T2 crafter. Few comments about the satellite view being local already. Pulsar crystal is a whole different tier, don't forget to bring those over, you use a lot to make the stuff like 4/6 per thing sometimes. Also the he'll pit is a giant meteor of the red resource, though you can't mine the big one, smaller ones spawn around it. You can use that to make more heaters also when you get the T2 drill, put the first one in a spot with the resources to make more. They give everything in the are, lower and higher resources. Don't want to spoil the rest, have fun. Glad to see you having fun taking your time.

Oh it hurt so bad when you found the Soleus tree and said "its not good for oxygen but we MIGHT use it...". Tree's are amazing for oxygen more then anything other then the rockets, the multiplier goes on top of what the tree spreader produces so the higher the tier of spreader the more the multiplier. Plus that tree is special and planting tree's is sooo much fun and probably the most exciting part of the game right now :D

You can make multiple map screens and the center will always be the one your looking at. Put around the world and you can see more map without crafting t3 gps.

Tons of super alloy up in the rock maze in the middle of the map. You can up on a skinny little trail through the big rocks and there is essentially unlimited amounts of super alloy. If you are confused what I am talking about, go to the very first downed spaceship you find and go into the rocks behind it. find your way up onto the path and there are tons of super alloy. GL!

the gps rockets display the area in a radius around the map screen you are currently viewing. so if you build a 2nd map screen at an outpost somewhere, you will get whatever tier you're at coverage in that area. Also, when you reach a certain milestone, the dust in the crater goes away and eventually starts filling with water.

You can put ladders down in the underground base areas, and if you put one in a living compartment that doesn't have another living compartment above it, you can climb th ladder to get underground. Also you can see the entire underground structure from the outside. There's a big void down there you can build in, it's fun.

Drae go east from base pass the metal rocks. Also the the mapping centers on the map console not where you launched the rocket so if you move the console you move the viewing area

You can put a map screen anywhere you n the map and it will constantly change based on where you place it. Like a portable map but you have to build it

tbh my planet has solar panels and wind turbines scattered all around along with drills and grass spreaders, my main base has the expensive stuff but for a while i just wandered and built T1 and T2 power generation and terraformation things along with random rooms with heaters

Hey tip: get enough resources for a room and a door so you have infinite oxygen. Worked for me like a charm

Drae already knows this, he has some single room bases around the map to do just that, it is just as he claims, he is a bit idiotic so he doesn’t think of this stuff all the time so he may forget to build the rooms until he realizes the situation he is in and then tries to do it in panic.

Drae, bring three iron, two titanium, and one silicone with you and you can build a base with a door to get O2 and then deconstruct it and repeat to explore.

Did you know that the rockets are actually loose objects? If you build one and launch it and as it just takes off spawn another one and they will get stuck in each other and will go crazy.

Drae the locations of interest on the map are places where you can place ore extractors to get that ore. but for uranium, osmium, super alloy and zeolite you need a T2 ore extractor. the super alloy mine location is in a cave with the entrance on the cliff face on the other side to the dust falls. Apart from the super alloy there is something interesting there. next the third added location is above the iridium cave but cant be accessed until you reach trees on the progression when a vine that you can clime to get to the new location will grow. finally the message next to the body has a different name in the bottom left compared to the name in the message in the base you found in this episode meaning two different people. apart from the base you found today there are another 4 underground bases with the same name attached but i will let you find them for yourself.

In order for you to use the teleporter you need to make at minimum 2. I have over 30. They are so much fun and save so much time. And it makes it so easy to get around the map.
