In the building menu, if you hover over the repair menu and select “upgrade to sturdy wood” you can click on anything you have built with the building hammer and upgrade it to a stronger type of wood. (Requires you to have materials like plastic and/or wood depending on what you are upgrading)

Instead of worrying about breaking poles, use the sideways poles so you don’t have to have poles in the middles of rooms

put the windmill on the 3rd floor, near the trees and the batteries get charged in around 2 minutes, as opposed to 6 min on ground level

FYI, you can chuck hinges, bolts and I think metal ingots into the trash compacters and it gives the equivalent of almost an entire trash cube.

Kinda old but you can farm titanium and wood in the giant floating city every single tree is chopable in the city and there's a couple rooms that you can unlock with the shipping crate puzzle that gives you around 6-9 ores also you can either put a roof over your crops or get an advanced scarecrow to stop seagulls from eating your crop

In addition to your comment, aside from the secret room in the generator room, with titanium, there's also the secret room from an elevator. The one used to bring you to the birthday room has a button in the upper left corner of the door. Press it to be taken to a room with four chests of titanium

I wish Raft had a "casual" mode or something. Like, if you could play like minecraft and build an island base that you could return to somehow...I dont know. The game has so much potential and its already super fun. I just like the format of this game.

17:18 when you drop stuff into boxes. theres a button that gives ALL that is already in the box. so put one plastic in then click the button and your whole inventory is filtered and put all the plastic in that box. the other button is to sort the box which is also pretty cool!
