vergil's case is ok, he is a reward for you to beat the game with an op character, just like in dmc3se. but lady? she just surpassed her limit. lady a human, can jump as high as dante, takes little damage, and never dies from falling, and can levitate for a while when swinging bayonet, maybe i'm alittle bit serious lol. btw her moveset is so great tho

There is Vergil's Downfall where he has a whole new story that starts after his defeat from Dante in Devil May Cry and in this game Dante is a canonical boss with his own cutscene or atleast he appears and there are new enemies that we didn't encounter in the first game.

Dante's Beowulf special moveset in DMC3 mostly consists of punches while Vergil's on the kicks. But yeah Vergil's moveset is much better to for combos for it's DPS.

0:47 You used Devil Trigger as soon as you launched that final blow to increase damage. And deactivated it as soon as the hit connected to conserve the gauge. That.Was.Badass. And against Dante, from 14:18-14:21 that looked like a PVP fight with those cool dodges. And lol when Dante used his Devil Trigger, you used it too and both of you stopped using it at the same time.... And that ending though, you used Judgement Cut End to dodge Dante's bullets and defeat him. You earned a Sub just by doing those things...

the trick with DT is called Distortion - time it just before a hit and the damage will triple. Most popular thing to Distort is Dante's Real Impact(if you just frame it - he can do 4 hits, instead of 3, the damage is so big you can almost one shot non-electrified Blitz) and Vergil's Lvl. 3 Uppercut as well as his final hit in full DT Yamato combo, but you can Distort literally any move on both of them(the trick doesn't really work with Nero since his DT pushes everything away and damages it)

The thing about Vergil in DMC4 is that I use Yamato exclusively. I don't use the Force Edge and I sure as fuck don't use Beowulf. I might be nerfing myself a little but Yamato usually is just so good I don't need anything else, especially since I can nail perfect Judgement Cuts no problem.
