Hello Professor; Thanks a lot for your videos and great teaching! This V-Q line has a negative slope, so shouldn't tan(theta) have a negative sign?

Not needed as, tan(180°-θ) = - tanθ

@@DrAfrozAlam Thanks a lot for the response. In that case, the angle theta should be shown as measured from positive X axis, in CCW direction and will be obtuse. The way it is shown in figure, it is acute and hence tan(theta) becomes positive.

Sir but in practical, single generator operation, i see generator at no-load 400VAC. And when we close CB to put on load, till 80% load (at 0.89 pf) gen remains at 400VAC. I see no droop there, neither at no-lod, nor at near to full load. Then how in practical, this Vt droop curve is implemented? Please need to clear it 🙏🏼 Jaza'kaAllah
