All the physical tools considered, the skill level, the potential, what really puts this kid over the top for me is his mentality/maturity. You can really tell the kid has his head on straight which is more than you can say about a lot of 18 year olds in this country. Goes a long way, salute to him. Thats the type of thing baffles me when ppl say hes gonna be a bust. Its virtually impossible to be when you have his tools & maturity. SUPERSTAR by the age of 22, mark my words. Man as a laker fan, I was a little skeptical about him going number 2, but after watching this workout... I am sold on him. He's long.. athletic and he can shoot the and lastly he can Defend. He would become a perfect fit for Luke Walton's system. D'angelo, Randle, Ingram is gonna be a nice trio for years to come!!!

This guy is going to transform the Lakers within 3 years. I think we'll see Russell, Clarkson, and Randle continue to get better but Ingram will be a factor from the start thanks to his shooting. Within a couple years he'll develop and that's when other free agent stars around the league will have faith to come play in LA.

He's not more talented than Simmons period but that doesn't mean he won't end up a better player. I think he fits the scheme of the Lakers better than Simmons because Randle and Simmons would clash. Ingram is like a young kevin durant to me. he's only 18 years old can shoot the 3, he got post up moves and he can drive to the basket. I hope the 76 ers take Simmons because My Lakers need a big small forward that can shoot the ball. Simmons seems all hype but not this dude. he works on his game all the time. That's a star in the making. we have to be patience if we get him. Its not like he's gonna lead us right in to the playoffs his first year but think about him growing each year with russell then we have a one two punch and that with other young talents like Clarkson, Randle Larry nance all we really need to do in free agency is: get Derozan and get a great center and ad some good role players. Just think about this line up: Russel , Derozan or Clarckson, Ingram, Randle, Whiteside. Dont pass on this kid my Lakers.

I Agree 100%, Although we aren't going to get DeRozan. Nonetheless, this kid is amazing, work ethic, desire to get in the gym and get better, attitude and all of the above is amazing. He would be an amazing spot for the Lakers as D'angelo is the main ball-handler and Clarkson/Randle are both offensive minded, this kid also moves extremely well off of the ball making him a perfect fit. I do want us to get Whiteside as the Heat can't afford to keep him other tan letting go Chris Bosh.

Great you agree i also agree with you on Ingram. He would be a great fit. The right mentality and alot of potential. I think derozan wants to be back in LA where his home is and the player decides where he wants to be in the end when there free agents. If we dont get derozan cool then put Clarckson at SG. Whiteside would be a perfect fit to he blocks shots and grabs rebounds and he still can develop his attacking game to and with russell passing and setting up people like he does he will get better there. and with ingram cutting and 3 point shooting he would be a perfect piece of the puzzle.
