TOTALLY!!!!.......BUT.... I think it is the delusion of anyone in a relationship... As a split is often very one sided.....In that one of them is very aware that they are no longer interested in being together and know they are going to be breaking it off.. And the other person does not have any clue that the other person feels that way.. Thus they are always caught totally off guard and blindsided by their delusions that everything is totally fine and ok....

I was hoping to see someone else comment about that part because I personally have experienced this with multiple friends. I’ve had a few friends who identified as non binary before they transitioned, then after they started taking hormones they got upset at people who still addressed them with non-binary pronouns. I think what a lot of people who transition don’t realize is that the people around them also need time to adjust, and that they can’t change overnight either. Especially if they’re family, or familial friends, who have known them their entire life before they transitioned. I’m not saying it’s impossible, or that it is okay to address someone in a way that is uncomfortable for them, but I also understand why people have slip ups.
@averyeml2 жыл бұрын
@@cmm3699 I have an enby friend who I knew pre-transition and I do everything I can to keep their they/them pronouns at the forefront of my brain but every now and then, most often when I’m alone and they’re in my brain for some random memory or another, I slip into she/her out of habit. Luckily for me they’re super forgiving and lovely and also we’ve known each other long enough that they know my intentions and effort. But yeah, it’s always good for everyone to keep in mind that *everyone* is constantly learning, growing, and improving. And that sometimes slip ups happen.
@cmm36992 жыл бұрын
@@averyeml yah, 3 of my friends are completely fine with other people using non-binary pronouns, but the other 3 people are not. I remember inviting a family friend (my brothers best friend since elementary school) to my small birthday dinner last year, and I knew they were non binary, but I don’t see them very often since they’re always busy with work and taking care of their kids. However, I had no idea they had started hormones about a month or so before then, so when I was walking to my moms house I saw them getting out of their car and was like “who the hell is this chick?” My first thought was that my brother had invited a secret girlfriend or something, but it turned out to be my brothers best friend. We had a nice laugh about that.

To all the young people out there reading this: Listen to your body. Anything that numbs you from pain is preventing your body from keeping you comfortable & safe. There are other ways to get you ready for the big deed, like working your way up with toys. I know some people just want to get it over with, but you don't want to blow out your tires, or cause a wheel imbalance (to use a car metaphor). In this case they were talking about the american dating scene so it makes sense, but outside of that the "who has it worse" debate always seemed so weird to me. In most countries, gay and women's rights are loosely correlated in such a way that when women's rights are few and far between, gay rights are nonexistent (with homosexuality being punishable by death). It's why allyship between feminists and gay activists is so important.
@horizonkyun72032 жыл бұрын

@@horizonkyun7203 I think in a global sense such conversations are pointless because it's not comparable...nor is it beneficial to compare trauma and hurt. A woman can struggle and face torment all her life because she looks like a woman, in most countries it's not something one could hide, a gay man can hide his sexuality but if revealed in many countries he'd be put to death, beaten or imprisoned. In all countries, if not by law then at least by a considerable group of people both gays and women are oppressed. Which is oppressed worse...I think who cares, a little oppression is no better than a lot of oppression and any person who has to actively endure said oppression and feel the effects of it has "got it worse".

I think gay men have it easier than gay women 100% but women in general? I’d say the ranking probably goes white men, white women, white gay men, white gay women, non-white men, non-white women, non-white gay men, non-white gay women, transgender people. Trixie talking like she’s not loaded is hysterical
@alexandragatto2 жыл бұрын
She's not in that league at this point, though (Claire's, not Michael's), plus she has to keep hustling to keep the money coming in, not just living a life of luxury and leisure indefinitely (not that she'd want that anyway!)

One of the best episodes of "Queens that like to watch" in a long time. The jokes were stellar! Also, this show seems too much.

Every time Trixie grabs her own ankle and yanks her legs apart I laugh so much. Usually the comments in between her doing that really gets Katya _wheeeeeezing_ too 😂😂 Someone _HAS_ to make a supercut video of every clip of Trixie doing that from UNHhhh through to ILTW.

@ssss13861 I forgot about Martin! The first thing I ever saw her in was My Wife and Kids and I always watched it after school so that’s what my mind always goes to first when I see her.
