What year are you in HS? If you haven’t done so already, I would set up tours and ask the person from admissions of each school what exactly you can do NOW, in order to be likely accepted in their program. I hate saying this, looks like you are considered a “minority” given your picture and last name. A lot of colleges especially ones that mostly have white students tend to favor minorities in order to meet their quota. What is your story? How can you stand out? What have you done with your current art? Social media? Art galleries (even though during these times that most likely not possible). I wish you the best chica!!
@liahuribe21264 жыл бұрын

@stevejenks99404 жыл бұрын
Unsolicited advice from a college admissions counselor - if you are applying to a true "art school" like Prat or SCAD, work on your craft and make sure it's awesome. They really want top talent. If you are applying to a school that has a great art program but is known for other things too, the art piece is still important but they also want decent grades and a good essay. You have to be able to pass classes that aren't related to "art" so you can't have terrible grades. In terms of racial quotas, that's actually illegal so we can't do that, BUT we do take into consideration the different resources some applicants have access to currently and historically. And for anyone reading this applying to college in general, we like to see people committed to one or two things for multiple years and with leadership positions than someone who did 10 things but just signed a membership roster. Short advice: be yourself, have your essays read by multiple people before you submit, and be confident in your abilities. You'll rock it.

I'm a 61-year-old gay man who never understood the "new drag". Until now. I can not stop watching you two. After the jolt of Trixie look wears off and you listen they are both so hilarious and real you don't even notice it after a while. Trixie is just like my best friend and Katya, whose laugh alone is worth watching for, is basically me. The smoking, the drug history, her willingness to share anything, it's all me. Only in a wig and a dress. And she's pretty as hell. Like me ;-)

I had to bring up my ACT and GPA score, did mediocre on monologues for a theatre scholarship (I didn’t get it obviously), sang opera to get into a choir class which I did for a semester then dropped because the professor made me lose my mind, all for a state school in the middle of no where.

Just watched this movie bc of these two and damn it's actually really fun! It is the typical high school drama set-up but with actual funny lines, the script was very funny and not typical at all!

So to confirm Trixie my school U of T ( the one in the first scene) does smell like hamster cage and does not have AC in that building.

Lee Alvarado But they have to let them improvise at least half of it. Like the Coogan Bryden road movies.
