Hey thanks for the reaction. Miranda’s look represented the houses of the suburbs in Rio de Janeiro. It used to be very common back in the day to cement pieces of glasses on top of the wall to prevent thieves to jump over and rob your house, this is what the headpiece is representing. The dress itself represents the tiles… a very classic Brazilian tile that you can find in most houses in the suburbs all over Brazil. From the moment she walked on stage, I understood it right away. I’m so glad she did it.

Thank you for the explanation. I was able to understand it better whenever the judges were talking to her. It was just too much for me to take in when she was walking the runway. I liked it much better after I understood it.

I wish the challenge was a live performance. It’s unfair for a judge to say they couldn’t see a lot of a queen in the video when some of the girls appeared for half a second while others were there for almost the whole video

Portugese sounds like Russian to a lot of us English speakers! There's a great video on it on KZbin, but the short of it is - the way the words are accented and stressed is pretty similar in both langauges. It's pretty interesting ! ^^ Yes, Grag won Queen of the Universe, while Regina had a joint 8th/7th/6th placement shared with two other queens. She was eliminated in episode 5. That season was weird because they eliminated half of fhe queens in the first episode , and the remaining 9 basically only had to go through like..4 episodes lol.

Am I the only one who instantly got that it was a capybara? Guys, you need to lookup videos of capybaras using hot tubs...or capybaras being chill with other animals. They're so chill- they let birds and other animals catch a ride sometimes. They're the largest rodents on earth. LOVE THEM.

I was feeling hopeless until the second group of girls entered the werk room.😂 As for the Queens, I do see a lot of potential but it was noticeable how the production was messing it all up. Like why did they choreographed if they only recorded the video with vocals only? It has probably something to do with the fact that Drag Race mexico, Brasil and Germany were all recorded in the same studio in Colombia and the production is mainly made up of Hispanic people and even the pitcrew were not brazilians. It must be a struggle to the production team being responsible for the creative process of a season that has very different culture and references from theirs. they may not look that different but Brasil is in fact very different from Mexico!

You’re right! They didn’t do anything with the choreography. Maybe they couldn’t pull it together in time or that was all just for show? Either way I wish they would have done it live.

As always, great react! I think Organzza's entrance look was a LOT. The colors were FIGHTING with each other. Orange/Hot Pink combo can be fabulous, but it has to be done right. The yellow bustier is not needed, or make it black. The blouse needed to fit better if you're wearing it under anything. There's like 3 different shades of hot pink from the waist down. I really like the idea, but it needed something... like Violet says "something else, something else". ☺

In my eyes Miranda was the best the whole episode. Her look was the best fitted and I could instantly see what she was going for. I also thought she had the most poise in the video. Of course maybe the fact my eyesight is -7 in one eye make my opinion so different from the judges. A lot of the second group are already starting to grind my gears which may make it difficult for me to watch.
