Tesla Model S plaid. Very closely matched. Plaid wins in some races. GT in others. As many of these races been done now. The only car in US that beats it every time was the Lucid Sapphire. That is completely ridiculous. Also when doing rolling race did the guy push the boost button which gives the Taycan max power when not in launch mode? Also of course there are cars Rimac, McMurtry speirling etc etc. which easily beat it. I thought you were an expert on all sports cars available out there. 🤔

Plaid is probably it on a good day. I think there are some counterpoints though, you can’t buy a Lucid in the UK. The McMurtry and Rimac exist in tiny numbers - but yeah will be quicker (and many multiples of the price). Can’t help but think the Turbo GT is overpriced for what it is compared to the Plaid (or lesser Taycans) - the margins must be ridiculous.

@@fettlemasterI mostly agree, but you have to factor in that it’s a Porsche! That brand cache alone would add thousands the car. Then you factor in the looks, build quality and handling, it makes a bit more sense. Last but not least, it’s the fastest car Porsche makes! A Plaid to me is the Dodge of electric. Lots of horses and some near luxury features on higher end models. Premium, but not really luxury. With all that said, I would simply take a used Taycan GTS or Turbo/Turbo S over this GT any day!

@@Aggie4life77 Idk if you've been in these newer Model S/X units but in terms of "quality" they're easily competitive in their price range with everything else, idk if there's a single part of the interior that's not soft touch and even when factoring seats or sound system, they're one of the best in class. Idk what else you include into "quality" argument but their reliability is turning out to be genuinely incredible
