What people don't get about the Barbie/Oscars situation is that, its not "why Ryan and not Margot"; the question is was Margot better than the other female best actress nominees? If she got a nomination, another female potentially just as deserving, would be pushed out.

I just wanna say I agree with you but what people are mainly talking about is that Ryan gosling got nominated for the Barbie movie (when the movie is all about girlhood) rather than Margot Robbie (the main driving force) yet the media and the “academy” focus on Ken (and “I’m just Ken”),the man. So I think it is kinda like salt in the wound that Ryan Gosling is nominated.

27:00 it just occured to me. I think production was ready for Kandy to send Jimbo home, and if she did, RuPaul for the first time ever would say "As it is written, it shall not be made. You all three are going into the finale". That way Jimbo would have a less of a perfect track record, and besides that - it was weird to have top 2. But yeah, that moment Kandy decided to loose the season, but it was less risky for her. She knew what the viewers would think of her is she eliminated Jimbo.

Just thought of an idea 💡 top 4 do individual performances and the top 2 move on, however the other two lip sync for a way into the top 3 where all 3 lipsync for the crown, gives the queens a way to save themselves and really fight to win, and keeps it competitive 😁👏

Margot Robbie not being nominated for best actress makes sense, and it wouldn’t matter anyways because clearly they want to give it to Lily Gladstone. But Greta Gerwig deserved to be nominated, and it’s another year where only men have been nominated for best director (to my knowledge). But the Oscar’s have been losing viewership year after year because award shows are sooooo boring 😂 and billion dollar movies are just never given the time of day at the Oscar’s anyways (besides Titanic). Like Starwars, Harry Potter, Marvel, and other box office titans (including Barbie) are usually never seen as contenders. Loved the video ❤ Jynx vs Detox was such a good lip sync. And clearly they wanted Jynx to win cause they did change the song for her 😂 (which I’m not mad at).

Greta did not deserve a nomination for directing Barbie, half of it was filmed like a commercial (because half of it was) and it was clearly her least impressive work to date. A woman WAS nominated this year actually, but since it wasn’t the woman people wanted to get nominated or the only film by a female director people saw, no one cares/knows about it. Every film nominated had significantly better directing than Barbie. If there is gonna be a conversation on someone snubbed it should be Celine Song who was ACTUALLY snubbed.

For willow, it was CLEAR Angeria stayed longer than her talent could hold and 100% shoud have gone home. She would have been so much more popular now if they sent her home with that lip sync. People would have said she was robbed despite being in the mid to bottom placement for about 6 weeks in a row(she just started SO STRONG!). I love her but I think letting her stay for so long hurt her. It was clear the final should have been willow and lady camden for the crown and daya for the kandy muse finale role(suspense the mean girl could win but they never will let it actually happen happen.).

I'm just going to say it. I didn't like the Barbie movie because it portrayed the male characters do badly. By the end the gurl barbies just came across as manipulative.
