Well, Jamie is learning but remember Tony is a “Sandbagger” in more ways than one. If he says he can’t cut a light, he’s telling you he can and will. We all did this in our street racing days. Haven't read all the comments, apologies if this was mentioned. Maybe more initial timing? What gears has the Demon got? It's falling on it's face off the line. It has a whole bunch of cam, so it would probably like at least 16 degrees to start. Really enjoy both your channels. Only recently found Jamie's. Oh, and let him know a Mopar guy from Silverdale, about an hour plus north of him, is rooting for the local guy! Thanks so much!

He needs to tee off at max camshaft torque specs + 200Rpm. The 200 is just over to help with the take off dwell bog. I would tee off at 4200, then lower gradually, according to your 3500 rpm suggestion. Yes it leaves good, but bogs just a little. Unfortunetaly, I think that this video is a prelude to trick Team UTG in Jamee not knowing who to when he's "the man who does it" on his channel. A big mind game, nicely done. His Bill Jenkin powershifting knowledge reflects absolutely something else on the track. About the Burnout, that engine torque dont need that much RPM. He's gonna break the yok or the hole rear end. These tires hook a LOT! Hahaha Isn't there a lock line on it?

I wonder what happened to the rear end wen he broke like you say the rear end he needs a good suregrip in that thing or the case or whatever you call it he’s got a 742 as opposed to a 489 and I right I’m getting old and forget sizes best Mopar channel on you tube your very thorough in what you do clean is the secret you do everything right you are not half assed like some builders like wen you installed the headers you bubble wrapped them but that’s the way to do it then your motor always looked good and clean Jamie needs to sit on a hill and practice with his clutch work that’s how I learned how to drive a four gear road runner wen I was a kid well 19 or so I practiced back and forth how to ride clutch on hill that’s how I learned to drive a four gear on a back let it roll back and give it gas it’s hard to explain but it worked great channel and good for you on helping him at track but as we all know all tracks are different keep on keeping on

As long as you're having fun getting it dialed in. No pressure but YOU have LA versus big block dominance at stake! YOU MUST raise your launch RPM! On a comparable track with that amount of BOG Uncle Tony will completely smoke you! That 360 had better be singing on launch! Effective torque at launch with the LA beats a lot of monster big blocks.

I should here how he did in about a hour when he heads north to me. I talked to jamie yesterday so heard about all the fun. He mentioned the cuda ride and said he dont want to go that fast. I reminded him of my funny car days and he said NOPE😅 also what the 440 for the truck is goung to run that i am going to let him run later this summer. Not sure under 6sec is in his future 😅none the less a guy needs to do it once in life for fun. As for the demon i would shove 430 gears in it for the 8th mile and shocks that limit body travel. But for what that car is its just fine the way it is. Glad ya took him to school. It was a good day. Any day at the track is a good day and fun. Each run ya learn. Glad you guys had fun.
