Good video. However as a former Navy sharpshooter, your finger placement is wrong for a revolver. Semi auto's are different you know. The 608 is my every day carry. So under rated.

This Taurus lock is way smarter then S&W. Simpler and cheaper and by swaping the hammer can be removed it with no sign left.

Not much of a revolver guy but love my Taurus Judge, though many are not fans of it. I've enjoyed discharging the 45 Long colt through it. Good vid as usual. 👍

Why? It seems like the ported barrel would make it that much easier to shoot.

@@pcjenkin you lose power & it doesn't help much with recoil. however, have you ever tried to fkn CLEAN a ported barrel?

@Slavinatorski I guess it seems pretty heavy. did you find yourself fatiguing at the range and getting tired of holding it up? how many shots or how long until you felt tired? i held up a 3lb plate from my dumbbell set at my house like a gun and it seemed pretty heavy. Compared to the Taurus 65 which is a 6 shot but lighter, my thought is, for home defense, the 608 is an 8 shot and you wont be holding it long (hopefully), but just to 1. scare off the burglar or 2. fire a few shots in self defense. I guess its a different story for EDC, but for home defense and property defense it seems like a good buy cuz of the extra 2 shots. the taurus 65 i guess would be better if you could only own one gun on the earth to do it all, then the 65 is better for EDC etc and still fine for home defense. i could see myself wearing the 65 all day and leaving in the nightstand, whereas the 608 is pretty heavy and would be a nightstand home defense gun only. What are your thoughts tho and how did you use it?
