A small plot hole. Cullen at this time was transferred to Kirkwall and was promoted Knight Captain. Knight Commander Gregoire was not feeling comfortable with him watching over the mages after the event involving Uldred.

@Skel337on well, carrying a torch doesn't really have to be a secret, as far as he knows, the Warden doesn't feel the same way. He's basically still in love with her :(

Cullen is an interesting character, i hope he has an appearance in DA3...or maybe even as a party member? idk, i just hope some of the character from the first game are party members again.

I just finished Witch Hunt few hours ago and I didn't get this convo. Probably because I played as a human female Cousland. Poor Cullen though. :(

I am totally shocked when I see this today. Ooohhh Cullen... Well in my inquisition playthrough when I have a female character I always romance him. It hurts to think it takes so long for him to get some happiness.

It'd be really...dopey, but I wish the grey warden makes an appearance.... Party member Cullen + grey warden cameo = lots of awkward dialogue.

Personaly I would have really enjoyed Cullen as a viable romace option or at the very least had some more chances for dialog between the two. Had this discussion on a Bio ware bored and sadly many feely that IF Cuarden are even mentioned in DA3 too much time would have passed (in game) for anything to come of it.

carrying a torch? is he hunting her? he did have a fierce hatred of mages for a little while there. still he has no ill will toward her even in da2. i have no idea what that term means. i would have summoned blizzard on these two for talking trash about him.
