Coming in (very) late on this one but maybe it’s because the Inquisitor almost never sleeps in her proper room and instead chooses random rooms around Skyhold so no one can find her and she can get some rest. I’d also bet Leliana always know where she is anyways so the other advisors just ask her when the Inquisitor isn’t in her room. Sadly, I can see Leliana having enough of a sense of humor to send the advisors here knowing exactly what they’d find.

That's what I was thinking! Then I went on trying to rationalize it as something to do with the Qun. Perhaps it can have the meaning we think, where the heart represents emotional and romantic attachment, and perhaps the heart can also mean centre, having something to do with faith and what you'll follow. "Follow your heart." Belief and trust. In my newly constructed head canon it would basically mean leader as Sten says it. Though your interpretation is a lot more entertaining =D
