Dragon Age needs an MMO. imagine playing some nobody rookie soldier, a warrior, rouge, or mage, during the first blight.

On the one hand, good god yes, on the other hand, if that means we get more Inquisition like fetch quests, no thanks lol

That's what you basically got in Origins, minus online.

not really@@BenD0v3r32 origins had you play as a somebody. and even out side the context of a video game where you are the hero of ferelden. and grey warden is still somebody special. and origins was during the 5th blight. what i mean is that you play as a nobody in both context of the gameplay, and the world. you are nothing special, you are not unique, there is no great role or plot that you are expected to fulfill. just you, the world, and the endless hoards of darkspawn... this is starting to sound kinda lame. i think your largely right, its sounding alot like origins

me and my friend do bi-yearly runs of Dragon Age Origins and Mass Effect trilogy and yea, there is nothing quite like it. BG3 just isn't "it"

The funny ( and sad ) thing is that both trilogies still hold up very well, so it's not one of those ' nostalgia ' things. I didn't even touch Dragon Age and Mass Effect before somewhere in 2018 or 19 and they still ended up as two of my favorite games of all time. BG3 does come close though, it's the only thing that managed to scratch the Bioware itch for me, with possibly Pillars of Eternity Deadfire being the only exception
