Solas taking long naps actually makes sense to me. If Sera is holding some part of an Evenuris - soul, whatever - it would be a cool call back.

@1:19 Wait what? Do you mean Solas cast the ritual where he sealed-away Arlathan into the Fade in the Frostback Mountains? Because as far as where Arlathan was ripped out of the ground (if you are correct about the Black City being Arlathan which was uprooted physically and sealed into the Fade,) we have a general idea of where that was, and it was far away from the Frostbacks: Arlathan was somewhere in the Arlathan Forest which got its name from the city, in the eastern part of what is today part of the Tevinter Imperium, bordering on the western edge of Antiva
@TheKingdomEntertainment4 ай бұрын
@@The_Malcontented The forest was named after the city, but previously, there has been evidence that suggests that's not where it actually was.

So i do have to correct this one statement. Solas slept for 4 thousand years not 2. I also have to mention that when he said he met past rulers of different parts of the land, spirits cross through the fade and some dont survive it and we all know Solas is a mage so he dreams in the fade. I think what he meant was he met their spirits when they crossed into the fade. I also have a few theories on who Ghil'anan is to Elgar'nan. I think she is his daughter and she created all those monsters and got herself blighted, she was told that if she joins the pantheon when she comes of age, she has to destroy her creations by Mythal because Mythal was the voice of reason. I think because she was told to destroy them, she ran to Elgar'nan and basically cried about it. I think Solas was Mythal's i guess you would say protector. I get the feeling that the vallesline is a binding thing so when the old gods finally broke free, they would be enslaved once again and forced into submission. I think thats why Solas removing Levellan's was the most impactful part of his romance because he says "you are free". I also have the theory that Sera is the holder of an old god's essence. She shows the traits, hunts like them, and doesnt like being tied down to gods. I also wonder, what if theres another god that was basically wiped from all the records and memories like the forgotten ones that was aiding Solas in locking the evanuris away and they were close and thats why he loves spending time in the fade and has an urge to take it down?

@lunabloodstone7 ай бұрын
@@Be0Wülf24 I agree completely. However there have been just way too many lore implications to ignore. Flemeth/Mythal is our greatest example she basically told us in DA2. I do wish they were separate, but then now I wonder who the others were that The Evanuris were fighting.

One does not simply walk into the Black City and outsmarts the blight. P.S. Shartan holding a key most likely taken from the images depicting Saint Peter in a catholic religion. In catholic beliefs key represents keys to the Kingdom of Heaven. Now that I am thinking of it, Kingdom of Heaven in Dragon Age is the Fade, hmm. I wonder whether Shartan is actually Solas. I never cared much about this theory but some of these clues mean something.

Elves are magical. And once immortal. Elven slaves were used to tear open the veil with the tevinter magisters. Your Elven friend in dalish Origin resisted the blight for months before loosing his mind becoming a ghoul. Alsiter's mom, once a Grey Warden was "cured" of the blight and became immune after giveing birth is an Elf. What if- A female elf drank dragon blood to become a reaver was turned into a Grey Warden. Then she ate darkspawn flesh to become a broodmother. Having dragon blood course thru her veins and then giving birth while tainted should cure her of her blight. Making her a Taint free, Blight immune brood mother with her Darkspawn babies also be Taint free, but not Blight Immune. Wouldnt this monster of an elf be not so dis-simalor from The Architect or Coryphious? I can imagine an elven god known for making friekenstein monsters to be insane ennough to try

Yeah, the problem with Dragon Age is the same problem the Zelda series ran into. The writers are either forgetting the established lore, or they don't care and just want to make a buck. So they make new stories that contradict lore or otherwise make no sense, and just hope the fans eat it up. It's also possible the new "writers" are just stealing fan theories off the internet and going with those. Based on the GI article, it seems like BioWare is taking plot threads that were originally meant to be separate, and mushing them all together into one story to make it easier to write for and display in-game.

my theory of the Dragon Age races are The Human's ancestors were the Lesser elves the slaves and weak spirits. The Elves' ancestors were the Mages and middle class of the elf's race. The Qunari ancestors were the elf super soldiers for warrior-cast elves. The Dwarves we know were bound to the Titans and the Titan's blood is Lyrium.
@lunabloodstone7 ай бұрын
Interesting I think the Qunari are one of Ghilan'nains creations Given what Kieran says to you as a Qunari in DAI and Corphy saying their blood isn't their own in the DAI fight.

Aren't the dalish elves confirmed to be descendants of slave elves as the face tattoos were slave markings?
