*CONFIRMATION/CORRECTION CORNER:* Yuya Takahashi privately confirmed the following scenes as his own: - OP Kamehameha - Twirling Nyoibo scene - From the part where Glorio comes to the temple on the plane, to the part before Bulma inspects the old plane. @@SpeedPunch Ep5? You do realize the fault of that episode wasn't on any particular animator (with technicalities being on Naoki Tate if you want to go that far but I digress) and not Yam. In any event, that was simply the result of a horrible schedule and no time. Naoki's art looked horrible* because he didn't have any time to make it better and Yammy had no time to do extensive corrections for him.

@SakirthАй бұрын
Whilst I share that sentiment, it kind of depends on your definition of a "Toriyama Dragon Ball project". For example, if after Super Hero they decided to do another Dragon Ball film, the preproduction and planning would've been done before Toriyama passed away and he presumably would've had some influence on story and characters.

The ending really changed how I’m looking at Daima. It’s so easy for people to look at a new Dragon Ball thing as fresh content for us to enjoy, but I can’t stop thinking about Toriyama when looking at each episode. It’s still hard to believe that he’s no longer with us, seeing his newest contributions to Dragon Ball with us. I’m sure he would’ve been happy seeing fans across the world coming together every week to enjoy Dragon Ball. Brilliant video and tribute Ajay, it’s great to see these breakdowns every week.

Hiroo Nagano was also a surprise to see even though their contribution on the OP wasn't the craziest thing. It was well worth it to let this series cook and avoid the problems that DBS had and it's refreshing to see some unfamiliar names on the franchise, just as we had Toru Iwazawa on episode 1. I feel like Daima can be considered Dai 2.0 due to staff carrying over but this also feels like a step up from the Dai episodes I've seen (not to say Dai is bad tho by any means) and I was initially worried about the idea of Daima just being Dai 2.0 due to how much the leaks hyped this series up, but so far it has been well worth the wait

Not to worry my lad. Some people have valid criticisms but there has always been (and will continue to be) people who take the hate way too far and hate for the sake of hating. The funniest part is many of them don't even know his work, as I have seen many point out frames or art pieces where it isn't even Yam. In any event, there is no downside to having Yamamuro on for corrections here and there. When "weaker" animators are on an episode, having people like Yam there to slightly correct them ensures the episodes looks all around polished. Remember, the key is TIME. The reason Daima will look phenomenal is because they had proper time to make everything look as good as it can be. Don't let anyone try to make you feel down about liking or at least putting some respect to his name.
