The emotions Daima has brought for me... I know it's not pleasing everyone, but I love how much of a celebration it is of ALL of Dragon Ball. The wacky jokes, the world building, the interesting character designs, the epic battles, the adventure. Nah, it's more OG run mixed with GT than any part of Z or Super. It was fine but honestly, characters designs were so, so, so underwehelming. Big finalle? Another Jiren. Tamagami 3? 1:1 like that bug from Turnament of Power. Majin Kuu is just a redesigned Shenron, Arinsu is just redesigned Towa. Just tons of designs pulled strictly from Dragon Quest or Sand Land. Honestly, it was stellar animation in servicable story with really lazy character designs. I just had this all the time behind my head... I seen this already, but it was used in a bit different context. Honestly I'm happy that this turned out exacly like Toriama wanted to. It was his final work. But maaaan, he didn't created anything really stellar without his editors. His genius needed to be mixed with some common sense somtimes (like "those androids are just two little brats" or "RR is boring, see, raitings plummed. Back to action or we'll cancel it"). Yeah... DB was that reakin one in the milion chance.

I can't believe I was able to watch Toriyama Sensei's, final piece of work to the world. What a legend in manga and in history, in general moving so many people and insipiring others to make there stories and keep going as artists and writers like me. Daima was such a great series, bringing back the good old Akira feel and nostalgia from OG Dragon Ball I've grown up with the series my entire life. And it was sad to see such, a Legend pass on but I'm still glad so many fans and I get to see his final work in the big screen. May you rest in piece, Toriyama-Sensei and I hope otherworld is treating you heavenly! ^^

While I’ve known about Dragon Ball since I was a kid, it wasn’t until this decade that I finally got into it. Daima was the first series I properly watched from start to finish. And I watched the sub mostly due to impatience, but also to give respect to the late Akira’s Toriyama’s birthplace. Once the series finishes, I’ll wait a few months to binge watch the dub.

I know daima is not everyones cup of tea (im british) but ive been loving it, Ive loved dragon ball ever since it first aired in the UK on cartoon network. Its made a big impact on my mental health and helped me though at times. We must appricate Daima for its the last Dragon ball content with Akira sensei hand in it. Interesting that Kuu and Duu are fighting alongside them. It seems like Daima's original antagonist gang was never on each other's sides to begin with. Also I'm calling it; they teased the fusion bugs earlier on, so we might see some kind of SS3 Mini Gogeta/Vegeto of some kind.
