As much as scars and missing eyes make for a more rugged look, it makes no sense on a Namek, since they have regeneration that repairs even missing limbs. Seems like they forgot to watch the original Dragon Ball series or the manga, since the Mafuba was created by Master Mutaito to seal Piccolo, not Piccolo, Kami or any other Namek. Not that that is surprising, since this feel nothing like Dragon Ball and is closer to Justice League than anything from the Dragon Ball series that isn’t called “Dragon Ball Evolution”.

The namekians Can't repair brain damage. Cell is an anomaly in that regard. On top that, when Piccolo & Itsuri were in the mental-plane, part of the head was still missing, implying that the storm did More than just physical damage. This event happened decades ago. He wudve regenerated by now if he could. The addition I do like in this story is how they gave Dende's mentor the ability to heal others as well. Makes more sense why that technique came so natural for Dende when it was 1st revealed in Frieza saga. I also like Uub is using more of Buu's abilities. I wonder if the writer(s) plan on nerfing him as the story progresses.
