Toei Animation studios ended production of Dragon Ball Super to wrap up the series with the Universe Survival arc due to production issues and a new Dragon Ball movie in development. (Which was I think dragon ball super broly at the time)

I think that Vegeta was kind of in that weird “transition area” of his character. He was kind of realizing “I give a crap about these people? Possibly? Maybe?” Because yes, we see him kind of stuck between his saying and pride throughout the ark, but as shown when he snapped so hard against cell when he killed trunks, he was growing. But yes, Cell saga Vegeta with the absolute worst version of the character.

I think it would be an interesting character moment for Jiren (who many consider boring)… He learns the value of trust during the tournament and the payoff is that he wishes all the Universes back. I’d say, that wouldn’t be a bad story!

In Goku's defense, that Kamehameha would've obliterated Cell if the story followed Piccolo's regeneration. Piccolo stated before if his head were gone, he'd take a flight to the afterlife. So having Cell come back from near death is a questionable logic i have yet to understand regardless of the evidence.

Garlic jr gave the z fighters the business and they never really beat him. Just sealed him away. It would be dope if he got released after training in that alternate dimension. I still say that anyone who thinks Cabba is a match for Vegeta when both are in base is tripping. Frieza, in base, could not keep up with Goku, who is basically equal to Vegeta. Now, that was Resurrection F arc. Cabba in the ToP arc, is supposedly at least as strong as Vegeta, right? Assuming that Vegeta vs Cabba is about the same strength as he was during the Resurrection F arc, this seems logical. Base form Frieza was TOYING with Cabba and only went Gold when Cabba went SSJ2 and only then was to ensure his win.

Yeah cell would have been way too big of a gamble. Plus the power boost was great for cell but there’s nothing to point to saying that he could pass his limits without blowing up, so how many times would he need to almost destroy himself to get from end of cell saga level to torment of power levels. So ssj2 to beyond ssj god which Freeza already was at before being killed the second time

His form is already perfect, but his saiyan dna gives him unlimited potential to grow stronger through things like zenkai boost. You can see it when he comes back after self-destructing as Super Perfect Cell. He already had a golden glow before like a super saiyan, but Super Perfect Cell also had the blue electricity around him like a Ssj2. His death at the hands of Gohan alone could've boosted his strength further, if and when he comes back. He could easily surpass Buu and the rest with more zenkai boosts.

I mean if Cell was training in Hell he'd be perfect (pun intended) but there is no way to know if he actually did or not
