Joey most fighting games require out of game learning, however, in my opinion it’s an outdated practice. The issue I have with fighterz is that it’s made by the completely same team who made GG yet it’s stripped of almost all its teaching tools. Just my opinion though. Still a fun game to play with friends.

Incredible how many things sparking does. It also lets u air dash cancel air normals (works great with the 6M universal overhead), and it allows you to build meter a lot faster

Oh they meant slide from down to back? It's hard to tell the way it's said. Also downback would be 214 not 236. Holding just down and back would be 1. 236 is quarter circle forward. As 214 is quarter circle back. Example Puush: puu.sh/zflVG.jpg Has all the notations right there assuming your facing right(meaning your player 1/on the left side). Ether way I wish people would stop using tekken notation for DBFZ. The number system always works best for 2D fighters.

For some reason I can't perform "#5 Raw Cancel Into Partner's Super". I do the same L+M+H-combo like in the video and immediately after that Half Circle Forward and then the Assist Button. The only thing that happens is the normal assist attack. No matter what I do I won't get the Super. Did i do something wrong or is there something I missed?

I kind of figured it out with using the D-Pad of my PS4-Controller. In the combo (doesn't matter where, but preferably when you smash away the enemy) let go of the buttons and roll with the thumb over the D-Pad from right to left (or vice versa). And at the earliest after that motion press one of the assist buttons. If you press the assist button too early the normal assist action will come instead of a special attack. It helped me to turn on the virtual controller in the Training settings to figure it out.

I can't manage to call in my assist super without doing my super first. Can someone please give me a command string so I can try input by input? I've tried by doing backAssist after an Autocombo or a normal jumpcancel combo but only got a normal assist or switch.

I thought this video was gonna be BS, but honestly it helped me and made me love the game even MORE! They thought of a lot and I have to say, because of this... DBZ FighterZ just may be better than MVC2 (which holds title of best fighting game EVER!).

I really wish they would buff the specials of the Earthling fighters a bit, particularly Krillin & Yamcha. I think Tien's special damage could be buffed as well (particularly with his Neo Tri-beam), but I honestly think it's particularly noticeable in those two.

PerroVerde First, you have to do this in a combo, this can't be while you are standing still. Second, it has to be half of a circle forwards or backwards, in the middle you go over the down button/holding the joystick downwards. If you do it backwards to forwards it wil be a level 1, and vice versa

The best way to beat an auto-combo is to block it at first, then press Heavy Attack if they keep mashing. I hope this helps :)

VorteX Clan An auto-combo is when you use the same button for a whole combo, which gives you a predetermined combo. Some people do not like them, because it defeats the purpose of manual combos

What’s a half circle motion ? Or back circle motion

Frost R7, basically quarter circle is is a special command input that pretty much universal all the characters in this game. Its the most basic button inputs that can be found in pretty much any fighting game and you have to thank Street Fighter for that. Petrusco2 Half circle motion is 41236 input. or for the people using 3D FG talk, Back, downback, down, downforward, forward. Juat slide your finger from back along the bottom to forward.

When you are doing a combo, you press hcb to do your partner's level 3 super, or do hcf to do their level 1 super. Keep in mind, you can't do this outside of a combo. You can only summon your partner's super during an active combo. I hope this helps :)

As far as I know aslong as it's not cancelled into something else, yes it's very punishable (does seem to change per character, testing myself it felt like punishing A21's heavy was much more strict on the timing then Trunks')
