That's a pretty cool plot device that they have with the characters acknowledge the player as the soul. I wonder if they'll have a follow-up to this with us being able to see ourselves in a new character creator just in time to do some training with the Z Fighters, face off against a new threat, and possibly see the return of Android 21.

In the end, it seems that she was a major threat only by circumstances (similar to the Android 17 and 18), instead of the usual 'I'm evil because I am' stich. Although, it does make certain aspects more sense when thinking about it, especially since I don't by someone that ax-crazy (or how eccentric that personality was) could actually pull something that smart.

I love the 21 arc ending. It just feels like this game knows we love all these characters and that they formed a great part of our childhood, watching them grow and change over time.. Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Ten Shinhan, Yamcha, Piccoro, etc. We've had these characters around us for many years and it's always a joy to see them being themselves. This is why this story works despite some flaws. The characters carry the story. Dragon Ball may end soon but... We'll always have this game to look as the cornerstone of how much Dragon Ball has been important to us. So long, 21. Your life showed us why we love Dragon Ball. And to the characters we all know and love, see you all next arc/game. To the ever lovable Goku.. See ya!

How all 3 endings should have went. 1. Good Ending: Upon getting to the Sacred World of the Kais, the Z Fighters realize that the waves suppressing their power can't reach them meaning they can use their full power finally. Upon her arrival, 21 threatens to eat Beerus too which gets him to fight as well since eating him is basically an insult. Goku and Vegeta power up to Super Saiyan Blue while Gohan goes Mystic and everyone else powers up to their max for the first time since the waves hit as they prepare for the final battle. After a long fought battle the Z Fighters are victorious. 2. Evil Ending: Growing frustrated at her inability to finds clones to eat, 21 destroys the Wave Machine so as to eat them at their strongest. Everyone takes note of this and heads off to face 21. Upon their arrival, they waste no time powering up to their max (Blue for Goku and Vegeta, Ultimate for Gohan, and Golden for Frieza) and they easily decimate 21 in battle. The story then ends with the heroes and villains slugging it out one last time with all of them being sent back to Hell. (Warning: My interpretation of the True Ending is drastically different from the canon true ending) 3. True Ending: Instead of killing 16, 21 simply incapacitates him. Wrapt with guilt for hurting her son, 21 freaks out resulting in her splitting into 2 halves (1 good 1 evil). The evil half eats Cell and transforms before heading off. 17, 18, and the Good 21 arrive just as the Evil 21 destroys the wave machine saying that she wants everyone at their full power when she eats them. Goku and Krillin then arrive explaining the whole situation and the Evil 21 escapes. The Z Fighters then gather up the villains to get some reinforcements as they now have a common enemy. Once 16 is repaired by Bulma, everyone heads off to the final battle using Instant Transmission to go to the Sacred World of the Kais in an attempt to lure the Evil 21 away from Earth. Realizing the matter at hand, Beerus joins the fight as the Evil 21 appears. The Evil 21 keeps healing and healing until something strange happens...her power begins to decrease and she begins suffering abdominal pain. Realizing something, Goku fires a full force Kaioken x20 Kamehameha straight through her forcing her to cough up Cell. Obviously enraged at being turned into candy by her, Cell agrees to fight her while Goku prepares the Spirit Bomb with the Good 21 joining him. After a long hard fought battle, Goku drops the Spirit Bomb on the Evil 21 while everyone fires a combination attack on her, she tries to block it but ultimately she can't and is annihilated for good. With the battle over, the Good 21 and 16 join the Z Fighters and Vegeta offers Nappa a place to stay which he begrudgingly accepts while the other villains escape. 21 then goes on to develop the solution to finally control her hunger and apply her technology to the medical field.

I think the pauses from the dialogue are affecting the voice acting, where as otherwise it would probably be fine. That and it seems like as a whole English voices these days seem too crisp or fresh compared to what it was around the late 90's.
