I spent most of my day fighting with Service Canada trying to get my passport stuff ready to be able to travel to tourneys in the USA(its not going well, and its time consuming). Many people wanted a SSJ4 Goku and I'm one of them but seeing THIS makes the character well worth it! Sure SSJ4 isnt really playable but we have a freaking corner monster! Feels fresh from the other Gokus and definitely feels like you need a bit more skill with GT rather than the others.

@rooflemonger I don't think this makes much of a difference but after you land the medium dragon flurry fist (236M) you can actually use 2M into standing heavy and then homing in on opponent works and I believe the hit-stun seconds allow you to dash into that H before you re-jump if anyone is having trouble landing the power-pole in the mix. ( I gotta actually time and see about the hit-stun still)

That spirit bomb combo is literally impossible for me. I have tried it for hours and everytime no matter how fast I input the commands, he never teleports to the opposite side of the screen to catch em with the spirit bomb

Can’t wait for the character guide, as a broly main it’s very hard for me to get used to his stubby limbs in neutral. He seems good when he get a hit in but it’s hard to get the hit in in the first place.

You definitely need a strong neutral assist like Goku SS or Yamcha to get Kid Goku in. But once you land a hit though, he definitely has ways to open people up.

As for the basic BNB, if you do L, M, H, S, HS, M, L, L, JUMP, L, M, H, 214M in the air you actually do about 100 more damage!

blood flowa I was going to ask the same but I figured it out myself just now. You just have to input Spirit bomb immediately after the reverse kamehameha, if you do it too late you’ll end up on the right side.

@@stanleyserrano8358 Just tried it like kage described and you really just have to input the spirit bomb as fast as possible after the second reverse kamehameha. If your input is too late it seems to position you on the wrong side If you input the spirit bomb too late but still end up on the right side its not guaranteed to be a true combo

Hint for " Alt corner combo: - alt starter, down M, stand M, jump M, double jump MH, qcf+M, straight up reverse kamehameha, then 2x followup of down version. LLLS, qcb+M, either end there or use assist followups as shown in video. " you dont need to do straight up reverse kamehame ha you can do 3x down version same dmg easier to execute. ^^ unless there is something i dont know about but numbers are the same !

Question: Is there a reason why every BIG combos starts with the low M? Like you can't do anything starting with Lights? Or is there more math to getting BIG combos/T.O.D.? I just want to do absolute destruction, but i feel lile I'm missing something

The lights start scaling your combo a lot right from the beginning and does less damage than the mediums. And 2m xx 5m allows puts your opponent at a good height for most damaging combos weather you jump cancel or not.and doesn't scale anywhere near as hard.

If you want T.O.Ds A21+vegeta(ssj)+ any other assist(except A18) can T.O.D from almost any hit. And depending on hit it can cost anywhere from 0-3 bars.

SwagingMc SwaggingTon The reverse kamehameha is a quarter circle backward Ki, the follow-up to that to get the opponent to fly diagonally upwards is a diagonally downwards (away) ki input (So diagonally downwards away from your opponent).

you have to dash right away after the homing hits, you can't be slow. The timing is somewhat strict but thats the penalty for truly optimal damage. Look at the inputs on the side to see the exact sequence of what/when you should press.

I have been trying for like. 3 hours??? to get that rejump extension on the corner bnb and I have not gotten it even once. I'll admit I struggle to consistently land the dashing hard after the super dash, but even when I do my rejump always ends up whiffing. I noticed my dashing hard is hitting a little higher than yours, is there a delay there at all? I also tried delaying a little before the cr.M after the qcfM to keep the dummy lower to the ground but that didn't do it. I cannot for the life of me find the timing. Does anyone know what else I could try? Is there any specific quirk to it I should know about, like if it fucks it up to go too quickly, or if there are any spots where I need to delay? Am I maybe just not getting my jump medium out fast enough?

I figured it out. Many ppl aren't inputting qcb 3 only once instead of twice. You have to physically put in the reverse kamehameha twice, not inpuy once and add an extra down3. That helped me at least

its all about speed, as long as you are doing the notations correctly you just gotta do it quicker. If you are a bit slow on the reverse kamehameha's he won't switch sides.
