To me, the solo Violin represents a Saiyan finally reaching the peak, Shielding others with their brilliance. Yet also blinding them to their calm nature, much like the Transformations of Super Saiyans itself. SSJ1 was triggered by selfish desires, Goku wanted vengeance for his friends. To punish Frieza for his actions of selfishness, until with a moment of clarity had done something _nobody else will do._ Grant mercy to one who had never Given it themselves. taking the first Step unto SSJ4. Clarity Within Rage. SSJ2's trigger was Determination and selflessness, Gohan had never fought for himself, and never needed to. Until he realised that he couldn't run forever. Couldn't hide from his problem, from Cell, he _had to fight_ and so he gave *everything he had.* taking the second Step towards SSJ4. Determination In Fear. SSJ3 wasn't as Glamourous or emotional as the other three transformations. It was not the move of a warrior preparing for battle, but one of desperation made by a dead man with his very existence at stake, buying time for the next generation to have a chance. Taking the third and final Step. Contentment with Avarice. Super Saiyan Four is not just a transformation, but the Final Form of a Human-Raised Saiyan. Representing *Peace Within The Beast.* A Super Saiyan Four does not feel Rage, Fear or even Avarice when at rest, but Clarity, Determination and Contentment.

I'm gonna be honest. The whole Dragon Ball Saga made me realize that life is great when you have family and friends to hold on, but there're always moments where it gets hard no matter what. And no matter what happened or what happens or what will happen... There will be always a way to get out of this hard situation. And with Dragon Ball... I managed to get out of hard situations I was living through, I was having hard time with trust issues and I was hardly making friends back then. But now... I don't have those issues anymore. And that's all thanks to Dragon Ball and it's creator: Akira Toriyama. So thank you Akira Toriyama, you've been the greatest mangaka the world has ever known and you'll always be the greatest, you have created the true masterclass being the Dragon Ball saga. You have helped many grand-parents (probably), parents, teenagers and young kids with your creation. You're everyone's mentor. And you'll always be everyone's mentor. His journey almost to an end... Goku child of saiyan, but yet hero of mankind stood tall, and with a confident stride he walked towards the tuffle menace. Not with fear nor breaking a sweat, but with a smile this was a challenge, this was the end, his full power being reached, his full saiyan evolution finally pushed to its peak. With his palms together a blue gleaming light of hope coalesced within his hands, and Goku calm yet mercifully yells out, and launches this beam of unending power and hope towards his adversary’s form.

I think the reason why this ost is soft is because goku archived ss4 through the love of his granddaughter pan. And of course having self control over his great ape form. Also it sounds like a victory theme because this form will end the evil horror of baby. Peace will once again be restored and love will prosper. Many sacrifices have been made along the way and there is too much at stake.

This really represents the hope Goku's friends and family have in him when everything seems hopeless and dark.He arrives in the battlefield and everyone cheers, he smiles in a goofy way at them, and they know, for a moment, he is there to protect them no matter what, ready to surpass his own limitations, to die if he has to, but to ultimately save them and the Universe.
