But in all seriousness I still feel like they should release the dlc already because the game is nearly 10 years old and since they only give attention to Xenoverse 2, I feel like they'll shut down the online servers for the game before they even consider releasing the pre order dlc.

It's weird how you can transfer your character from the ps3 version of xenoverse to xenoverse 2, but they won't let you do that for Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta, don't forget the silver and gold Saiyan armour that was pre-order only items. I can't remember, but later on, I think they gave us another preset build with different ki and strike super attacks. to start with, he only had the 1 build.

I am sad that Dragon Ball Super overwrote GT in terms of what gets incorporated into video games, purely because I think super saiyan 4 is a way more visually interesting transformation than the super saiyan 1 recolour we get these days

GT always did get the short end of the stick when it comes to DB video games. I'm not a fan of the show at all, but its still sad seeing Dragon Ball content get butchered so badly by rushed and lazy video game development.

To be fair, at least GT gets acknowledged. The DBS manga has been ignored by Dragon Ball video games for years. Xenoverse 2 straight up skipped Moro as if it didn't even happen and went straight to Super Hero, and now we're getting more DLC that seems to just be more what if scenarios of the same arcs we've already played in Xenoverse 2 a hundred times. They're generally pretty shitty towards anything that isn't Z or from the Super anime/movies.

@@broom673 Well that is much more understandable than GT's treatment. Toei/Bandai know that the vast majority of DB fans only interact with the anime and not the manga, so it wouldn't really make sense to market the Moro, Granolah and other manga stuff until they are animated. Adapting the manga for DBS could also cause many continuity issues, as the manga can be quite different from the anime. If they adapt the manga now before the anime even comes out, then everything is just gonna be confusing when the anime inevitbly returns and changes events and scenes from the manga. People will start to argue that "only the manga continuity is real because it is in the video games!" I want DBS manga content too, but I can at least understand why they aren't doing it. On the otherhand, there is really no logical explanation for why GT content so frequently gets the short end of the stick. The only reasoning might be that it is less popular, so the developers put less effort in it.

@@broom673 Believe it or not, but most DB fans didn't even seem to know that there was a seperate manga. The majority of fans only started realizing this after the DBS anime already ended.This is why so many people dont know that the manga arcs have a different events from the anime. For example, in the manga goku black arc, Vegeta has SSG and Trunks has supreme Kai powers. Most fans dont know this however because they only watched the anime version of the arc, and neither of these is present in the anime. Sale records show that the manga has become highly popular ever since the Moro arc, so maybe the recent increases in sales might pressure Bandai/Shuiesha to give us manga content soon. But I'd only imagine they do that if the anime is still far away from releasing

I bought all these packs day 1 when I was like 12. I did really like the mission with the 3 GT villains but everything else was disappointing. Especially the lack of a humanoid form for Baby because Great Apes aren't that fun to fight. And GT Trunks doesn't even use a sword. It just felt so lazy

7:16 You gotta do damage to him until you stagger them, that's when you grab the tail. But I don't even bother because it's faster to just keep blasting away at when they're staggered. I use Super Ki Explosion as one of my ults and it damn near insta kills them.

GT was a mess in this game, a little like in Infinite World [skipping the two previous forms], Budokai 3 [skipping Baby and Super 17 Saga]. Budokai Tenkaichi 3 missed out on the Black Star Saga [like the DVDs did when they were released in the US]. Then again, XenoVerse 2 did it just as bad with the parallel quests.

the reason GT trunks and future trunks are different people is because they are from 2 separate timelines i mean in age 790 in GT it's the super 17 and shadow dratgons arc, while in 790 in the future trunks timeline is when trunks was fighting dabura and babidi (5 years before goku black)

My one major gripe with xenoverse is that they GTA V’ed the heck out of it. Once the game made hot cakes, they stopped producing new arena fighters period. If Sparking Zero comes out this year, it will be the newest dbz arena fighter/casual fighter since the last nine years.

yeah it's so dumb how ss4 vegeta is pre order only. u could have just put him in gt's dlc with the amour too for purchase in a in game shop. it makes no sense to completely lock u out. ik xenoverse 2 is just the better 1 with all content and more so there's no reason why i should be complaining but at the same time i love 1 and nothing should be lost forever cuz u didn't pre order it. cuz people who were kids at the time or born after couldn't get it and people with no money at the time couldn't either. pre order bonuses are cool but it's so scummy to relegate it to just that and not take in any consideration to other people after the fact

This is why I don't buy modern Dragon Ball games. I don't know how Kid Trunks is more interesting than GT Trunks. Not counting Wrath the Dragon, Kid Trunks has basically no character that can stand on his own and even the writers of the DBS Super Heroes Movie said they are only known for Fusion. While GT Trunks is introduced as someone who is bored of his life and wants freedom and through the space adventure we see how he changes. He even went as far as crafting a plan with Giru to expose Dr. Mu's plan to "create" Baby. Baby was created by the Tuffles and then Baby created Mu with knowledge on how to create Machine Mutants to provide him with energy to complete his evolution. Generally, I take GT Trunks over what DBS did to Future Trunks... or what the DBS manga did to kid Trunks... in Super Heroes

GT doesnt disappoint really in every game and GT has a huge community as well so respectfully, GT disappoints with some of their lack of animations and effort in the anime, the plans of GT however are a masterpiece. Trunks isnt a bad character at all, its typical for him. After all thats the Trunks past End of Z, so you cant really call him shit bc he just ended up being a game addict and growing more mature and doing something for his life on earth, even if he doesnt want to all the time. and about the games, DRAGON BALL LEGENDS is **COOKING** with Dragon Ball GT Dokkan is COOKING with Dragon Ball GT lets not forget Xenoverse 2, they arent cooking but they are doing pretty fine with Dragon Ball GT and the same will be for Sparking : Zero.
