@MERCwtm They rarely give sustained damage cut to uniques unless the unit is really old. Trunks already gets "70% reduce damage received" (not actually 70% since it is multiplicative) when staying as Trunks for 20 counts. What they need is more disruption, like reducing ki by 30 and destroying a card when cover changing or sealing RR whenever they reach under 50% health. But I'd imagine they'll fix their tanking capabilities for zenkai. Not many equips can improve a unit's tanking prowess unless it's Jiren's or something ridiculous like the 6-party member pure Dragon Ball Saga equip.

40:06 Beast does cancel buff effects, meaning that Ultimate Gohan and Ultra Cryhan biggest moves was hitting like feathers💀

People always forget that most units only cancel enemy's Buff Effects while not also **canceling enemy's Attribute Upgrades** like top 17. Even if beast did cancel both, 99% of ulthan's dmg upgrades/buffs are uncancelable. Even his ultimate damage up is uncancelable. Beast mostly likely lived because of the ultimate arts power down debuff, being 2x zenkai buffed, have good equips and ulthan's low cut pen.

Tbf Doo MUI would just buff Son Fam which really doesn’t need it. Not to mention he’ll probably be an absolute menace with it. Rather him get a zenkai (Also I’m a recent subscriber)

Ngl besides Vegeta's card draw and Ki, the Vegeta side is fine. People's issues with it are way overblown, considering 1. It's VT's main way of stacking up damage, because otherwise Trunks is capped at like 175% which isn't good enough for these days 2. You need to be on the Vegeta side to get the 70% Vanish when switching to Trunks, which confuses me as to why people use that as a benefit of the Trunks side when it's literally something you access by being on the Vegeta side in the first place. You could PV the enemy, start comboing, then switch to Trunks with your Vanish back whereas you don't get the same effect with being on the Trunks side. Now the issue with Vegeta is that you simply can't start a combo with Trunks, switch to Vegeta, and get back, unlike the majority of Tag units, which kind of limits the ability to abuse the vanish ability and Vegeta's stacking damage per card. Whereas Trunks has a really good mechanic for a Tag unit to spam Blasts in the manner he does AND draws that card on tag switch. So on plat, they would really benefit from some CDS, Ki Recovery, and Damage, and perhaps allow the ability for Vegeta to draw a green on switch which would help him stack up more damage for Trunks to hit even harder. Then besides all this there's their cover null, but I honestly don't expect them to fix that with a plat. Unfortunately.

@@oneplay5570 And this shows you make very surface-level observations even when someone presents a well-researched opinion 😉 Btw, never said the Vegeta side wasn’t worse, but rather people overblow how bad it is. People act like you should never even be bothered to switch to Vegeta when he’s an essential part to the unit even being usable.

Give vegeta 2x cds. And whenever he enters battlefield he gets a green card every time(or limit it to 2 times if ur scared) and for the first card he does increase switch gauge by 50%(resets every time he swaps). Since vegeta is so garbage and u want to swap out of him asap why not help him do that. That way u can go from trunks to vegeta and back to trunks in one combo. The green card he draws will allow u to do that ki wise. Thoughts?

ki on entry both sides, 2x cds for vegeta, guaranteed blast draw when vegeta switches in or tags in. sum like this would go hard but they'd prolly need more, maybe like pur vegito or op effect lowk, that 50% switch gauge thingy is good as well
