Dragon Ball Pre-Release Files : Budokai 3

Yeah, i know, my English isn't perfect. I'm really sorry about that.
This video sums 90% of Budokai 3's removed contents from final version. I didn't show removed side quests because there are many of them, and they are placed randomly through the game, so it's very hard to find a complete dialogue.

Out of all these differences, the early Dragon Rush ending is what really hit me.

I'm really intrigued as to where that demo build of B3 came from honestly - I've never seen it before, and it's probably one of the most primitive demo builds I've ever seen from a game - NOTHING is the same as what we got in the end! And Broly using Nappa's voice is strangely amusing, hehe. It wasn't just Kid Goku - literally EVERY character was meant to have their own story in Dragon Universe, even ones like Saibaman, Cell Jr. and Recoome! I can attest to this as I've ripped the vast majority of the audio from these storylines and uploaded them here. This game really is a cesspool of unused ideas, but it still turned out brilliantly in the end! Many thanks for the amazing video!

I never had a problem with DR, but that's because I never played the game online or competitively, and even though it was a bs luck minigame, it was very exciting when it happened while playing with friends since you'd cover your controller (kinda like when you played a penalty round on FIFA back in the day). I can see why playing online it sucks tho. Those 30 seconds are like half a match, but when you played with seven bars, no extra damage and no op characters (ss1 being the max form) it was cool. Problem is that people just want every fighting game to be fully comeptitive when most of the fun comes from casual play

That sped up Dragon Rush would've been significantly less annoying that what we got on release.

This dragonrush would be a lot more bearable than the final crap. This was really a horrible design decision.

I think the sped up dragon rush would have been better for the game as it slows down pace sometimes

Its always felt like a way to increase artificial difficulty and give the cpu a free hit. Wish I could mod it out on ps2/ps3

E' possibile, tieni conto che comunque moltissimi dialoghi da come si evince dai file di gioco sono side quests, quindi magari era un evento particolare in cui Trunks e Goten parlavano (I founded a lot of side quests in game files, and there where a lot of them. So 90% of Bonus lines in Dragon Universe comes from deleted side quests or no-longer exist Dragon Universes, like Kid Goku's one.)
