"Base Vegito at 7? Am I tweaking" You're tweaking, but also you are unaware probably of how some of old Tenkaichi systems work. Starting out as Fusion is weaker than fusing mid-fight. You don't get the same crazy added up health. Fusing 5 DP Goku and 5 DP vegeta will give you the proper busted fusion. There's gameplay reasons for DP costs, not just powerlevel. Base Vegito will still probably be stronger than SSJ3 Goku if they're gonna compensate for Vegito starting at 7 and Goku starting at 5. Spike Chunsoft is not here to give their 2 cents on powerlevel arguments, they're here to make a fighting game with characters of different strengths. Like, there's 3 possible reasons why Legendary SSJ Broly is 9: 1) Maybe they just made the form that strong due to how popular he is. You can still get the base form cheap. 2) They made that form cost 9 because they *REALLY* want to portray how LSSJ suddenly turns the tables. 3) They made him cost that much because they don't want people to start with a superarmored character who has none of the weaknesses Giants have. They want the opponent to get a couple of seconds to wear Broly down.

@@rasmus90 oh i didnt mean to imply there wasnt gameplay reasons. Its just usually for the most part alot of characters are scaling depending on what saga they are from sayian saga characters are gonna be weaker than super saga characters for example. So i wondered why characters like broly are at 9 when by the time we get to blue goku he should be wiping the floor. And it not then why isnt someone like beserk kale 9 as well. But i agree it’s probably for the 2nd reason ya named
