dp 9 brolys are actually goated in DP because everyone is just stacking low cost characters. He can very easily take out 2 or 3 by himself by super armoring through other peoples bull shit. I run him last on a roshi, bardock, LSSJ broly team and he cleans up every game

Yeah but I'd rather get there from DP5 broly cuz it's not too many bars to reach the transformation and he heals. You get some value from playing carefully, swapping, padding out OR from rushing straight to LSSJ and running those low costs down while still having 4 more points for your teams

1. For the same cost, you could have base broly and wheelo, ssj2 gohan, bardock, or ginyu 2. You miss out on the full energy regen you get from powering up, which can easily be used to get to sparking mode and wipe a character out. 3. It takes no time to get the stocks to transform broly

So far I’ve found an insane amount of success with Tapion as my starter character. He’s only at 4 dp and has afterimage which has made him really clutch at taking on much stronger characters, and also allows me to have some more power in the back like janemba who I’ve also been using. I’ve got z trunks as well simply because then I’ve got a team of sword fighters lmfao

Yajirobi is god tier with the senzu. Master roshi is also insane with after image strike and 2 unblockable. Plus they are super cheap. Yajirobi can solo whole teams.

The early Piccolo disrespect is crazy. All-Out also gives you instant sparking the Paralyzing Beam is clutch if you know how to use it. Good combos, and sick rush. I would put him right below Uub.

Lord Slug is at 4 DP not 5 and has been getting crazy results for me. he's got a 3 skill that gives buffs close to Tree of Might but also gives you a few bars of ki which makes it easy for him to keep up offense or get into Sparking. He also gets health back on going giant and his giant form has insane damage if you know how to do big guy combos. Also from what I've seen of high level play, Super Vegito actually beats Blue Vegito entirely because he has Afterimage Strike and getting free hits in with Super Vegito's damage is insane.

Android 19 doesn't suck..arguably one of the best dp 4 characters. He is better than gero because he has two useful supers unlike gero whose eye beam sucks- and he has false courage which basically let's him tank through rush attacks and grab to drain health/ki. It also instantly takes them out of sparking

What makes a character good or bad? i for example think Videl is better than Roshi since both have Afterimage Strike but Videl can fly, has an unblockable super, ki blasts, and the most important thing, she can convert from a Low sweep since she has the back turn on the second hit of her melee combo. Roshi has the kicks on all of the first three melee hits so he cant do shit. And being able to convert from Low means you get a LOT more damage from the mixup or from any other hit since you can go into the sweep and proceed with the route either way. Dabura does the same but a bit better, tho he costs more. But now you get setups into unblockable skill or super that deal very decent damage!

I will probably never use a team of 5 because the majority of the 1-3 cost characters are just not that fun for me (though a few of them really are). If I run with a team of 4 then I can at least run with two 5 DP characters. That, or two 4 DP characters if I want. I usually go either 5, 5, 3, 2 or 5, 4, 4, 2.

Baby vegeta gets 2 complete ki bars for free just for transforming, super baby 2 has great offense and ki spam into revenge death ball. I just play baby and beerus lol. Somewhat similar characters actually given the full power, they even say the exact same thing: "I'll destroy you." Maybe when the new players start to get decent I'll have to swap, but I;'ve been sweeping through the low ranks with these two.

I feel like base kale and base caulifla should either become 3 points or kefla should be bumped up to 10 or some other number combo so you have a choice between fusing and just going fused right away without hurting yourself cause with the dp why use kale or caulifla when you could just use 1 more point and get the better kefla instead (other then just liking to fuse/the characters which is what I’ll be doing)
