I like how they add newly revealed characters to their special marketing grid. But they seem to have missed adding some characters like Teen Gohan Super Saiyan 2, Dr. Gero and more even though they've been already revealed.
Like last week, the community and I found characters that were hidden behind menus. The ones I add to the roster that we believe will be playable. Last time I added Spopovich as a cameo character but he has been confirmed to be playable. I wonder if they'll add Babidi as playable too.

I’m not seeing how people are seeing Great ape Baby. If anyone can help me understand how they made it out I would appreciate it

I honestly saw a more “Namekian-like” figure when seeing it. The character seems to have a red belt, which Baby doesn’t have, but Lord Slug has a reddish-orange belt and a yellow cloak. I also think I can see an antenna reacting to wind in the silhouette and underneath the golden aura looks something like green skin. Lord Slug would still be crazy, but I could also be completely wrong. The truth is that the screenshot is too dark and blurry to confirm anything and GT fans are grasping at straws😂.

Interesting roster list, but a couple of things to note: It'd be weird if Kid Goku, Roshi, and Yajirobe were the only OG reps in the game, especially since that old Sonny Strait instagram post seems to have hinted towards General Blue. I'm not sure how or where they'd be added, but I'd probably put General Blue, Tao Pai-Pai and King Piccolo somewhere on there at the very least. Maybe Arale too, since she appeared in both OG and DBS.

You are right about that. I am improving based on feedback from the community and my friends. As for the voice thing, it could've been a few lines perhaps for a cutscene or something. Doesnt prove that he'll be playable.

Great speculation video. I used too say that we just need to see new 10 or 20 characters cus 40 of them are obvious like transformations of cell, boo, mid gohan, freeza, androids 16, 19, etc..

I think taipon and janemba are 100% dlc because they would have been in the *swords* vs fist trailer. also gt goku would also have ssj3 since he had it in BT3~! tbh I think all your movie character spots are more realistic to end up being more DBS,DB,GT characters. But we will see!

Through extrapolation. If we have Caulifla, Kale and Kefla, we should also have at least Frost. U6 tournament was a whole arc and needs all its representatives.

It still makes sense that GT and Dragon Ball will be DLC. I mean I believe they said they’re focusing on DBZ and DBS. Also shouldn’t Lavender & Basil should be in the roster then?

@@DerriousGamez I hope they’ll get revealed because I noticed that every character’s ultimate that involves a team attack are paired with a character already playable in the base roster. Burter & Jeice, Hercule & Majin Buu, Goten & Trunks, Caulifla & Kale, 17 & 18, Gohan & Goten, Zamasu & Goku Black, Great Saiyaman & Videl. It kinda makes sense for them to be in the roster. Also it’s kinda odd that Ribrianne, Roasie and Kakunsa are in the other but not Bergamo’s brothers. ^^’

1. The “Great Ape Baby”Screenshot is too blurry and dark to tell if it even is an unconfirmed character. I’ve argued that it would be easier to convince someone that it’s Lord Slug instead of Baby, but even that would be wild. 2. The GT inclusions make no sense. You’ve got Baby Vegeta and Super Baby but no SSJ3 Goku to complete their inclusion for story mode. SSJ2 GT Vegeta has been omitted despite playing a prominent role. Where are Eis and Nuova Shenron. GT Pan and Uub/Majuub have been omitted despite playing a prominent role against Baby. The list goes on. People won’t buy a “GT DLC” for these characters because they don’t carry the same hype as SSJ4 Goku/Vegeta/Gogeta, baby, the Shadow Dragons, etc. either all the necessary characters are represented or the entire series is DLC. 3. Super Buu and his subsequent forms are all laid out contrary to every other character on the roster. Nobody with 3+ forms is laid out as a straight line, even DBS Gogeta curves slightly between Goku and Vegeta. 4. Kid Buu shouldn’t be a separate character. Super Buu transforms into Kid Buu upon losing his absorbed power sources. He doesn’t go through another convoluted process of becoming Kid Buu like how Fat Buu ejected Evil Buu from his body then got turned into candy and eaten for Evil Buu to become Super Buu. Kid Buu is rooted from the same Evil Buu as Super Buu, so they should fall under the same transformation set. 4. Kid Goku is there ALL BY HIMSELF with no King Piccolo, General Blue, or Mercenary Tao to fight. EVERY CHARACTER INCLUDED NEEDS TO FIGHT SOMEBODY! 5. No Arale on the roster. L.

1. I've argued with my friend about this. At first glance, it did look like Ape Baby. But on second look, feels like t.o.p stage with what looks like Vegeta's armor. Who knows. 2. GT needs a bare minimum addition. They've teased SS4 Goku in the very first mention of this game. GT DLCs selling point could be additional story if it's not in base game. 3. Good point. I'll readjust eventually. 4. Kid Buu has NEVER been a transformation and never will be. 5. I'm constantly debating this stuff with my friends. I'm going to remove some to add some. 6. :(

@@Dr.GameYT My issue with "GT was teased" is that it wasn't really teased. A brief inclusion in a Budokai Tenkaichi slideshow doesn't really confirm it in comparison to how many slots there are for the roster, how many mandatory DBS characters are needed vs GT, the amount of trailers that could've fit GT into their themes, etc. Sean mentioning that he voiced SSJ4 Goku only confirms that he'll be in the game one way or another, not that he's a base game inclusion, since VAs will put the time they are paid for into full use by voicing characters that could be a year or more away from being in the game. Jun Furutani even said that GT, one way or another, was going to be in the game. Either as DLC or the base roster (He also said in a recent interview that the roster "isn't big enough". Take that how you will). My personal theory is that this game WAS supposed to be released in 2025 but got moved to October of this year to release alongside Daima. If showing SSJ4 Goku from BT3 in the first Teaser WAS supposed to tease his inclusion in the base game, then that would actually explain a lot. I'll HAPPILY eat my words if GT is in the base game, but it has to be ALL OF IT. SSJ4 is cool and all, but GT Goku/Vegeta/Gogeta would feel like very shallow inclusions if the game doesn't include Pan, GT Trunks, Uub, and the villains. I played DBXV1, I know how unlocking SSJ4 Goku/Gogeta, Omega Shenron, and Super 17 felt, and I know how quickly the novelty of their base game inclusion wore off when I saw that I had to pay for the story mode content and SSJ4 Vegeta + the other Shadow Dragons.

You should change the roster to exclude all GT characters since they have stated that there main focus is DBZ and DBS most likely DBGT is going to be a future add on you can buy.

Especially due to the game features they have been focusing on when it comes to the new and improved story mode with what if along side custom battles the player can set up with and share. I will gladly take the L if there in the base game but all signs point to it being downloadable content especially since it would be a smart thing to do and because of super, GT is no longer canon.

One more thing I agree with someone’s comment saying get rid of DBZ Broly because there is a new Broly but I will say DBZ Broly is more likely base game than DBGT.

Also you can’t put two characters in one spot because goku and his at her forms and other characters have there own spot. Vageta and his forms have there own spot. Freeze and his forms so you have to separate all the ones you have doubled up together.

I have since updated the roster to exclude GT. The only reason I put it in is because of the earliest evidence of its inclusion which being the BT3 footage of Goku Super Saiyan 4 using his x10 Kamehameha. Since then, they've been avoiding the GT topic like it doesnt exist. But, it does exist. Canon or not, it has been core to the BT experience. As for Z Broly, I put him, Hirudegarn and Janemba on the spot because there are attacks given to SZ characters that are associated with those characters. Bros Kamehameha, Dragon Fist, and Super Dragon Twin Fists. As for the spots thing, that was my way of saying that only 1 of these will be in the game. Either Oozaru Bardock or Super Saiyan Bardock. I doubt both will be in the game.

@@Dr.GameYT ok and about the old version of Broly, I was only saying that because of the new Broly from super and it doesn’t mean that we won’t see the old Broly on the roster I’m just saying it’s likely he’ll be replaced and Jenemba is more likely to show up again so I agree with that character.

C17 Z is most likely a costume of C17. Or rather C17 Super is the costume.

@@Dr.GameYT on the official site says Android C17 (Super) So must likely could be a costume to the Super variation. However it could be a seperated Slot Like Vegeta (Super) and Goku (Super) are And don't forget Android 18 she does not have (Super) in the slot. So lets see

I understand that much. However, regular C17 has been shown several other times but not once was he added separately. At this point, I'm assuming he and the DBS versions are the same character with different costumes and attacks. Same with Goku (Early). We've seen him have 2 ultimates. Super Kamehameha and Spirit Bomb. Costumes are a thing. Not outright stated to be a thing but we have solid evidence to confirm their existence. And having C17 DBS would waste a slot that could go to someone else when he can be easily a costume with different supers and ult.
