It would be a real nice touch if SSJ3 impact visuals were bigger than SSG to indicate the instability of the form and lack of control compared to the more refined energy control of SSG and SSB

SSG and SSB ki control abilities never went beyond superficial. SSG didnt make the user tired and that was it. SSB let goku use kaioken, but then it contradicts the energy control aspect by giving him a rage boost against zamasu. Then the broly movie pretty much confirmed blues identity as the angry/fiery form as opposed to SSGs relaxed nature. No use of fine ki control when transforming there, just anger really lol.

it's more of the type of ki , blue and god fuses god ki with base goku and ss goku that's why they allow spirit bomb and kaioken since it's cleaner ki but as you said blur is still anger based. If we are speaking of ki control blue have no ki control , if you read the manga goku vs zamasu , Goku uses ki control in blue form to get a super huge boost in power (when in ki control form his aura dissapears) . I really wish they had that in the anime it looked so cool @@NeutralGuyDoubleZero

@@dio1018 The difference between ki types is also superficial. It cant be sensed by mortals and thats it. It's never been stated to be "cleaner" or superior than normal ki in any real way. Goku could kaioken and spirit bomb because it was *SUPPOSED* to be about perfect ki control, but that got lost and forgotten about. The manga tried a bit harder but the form still gets anger boosts which doesn't make sense. Divine ki seems to allow for strong transformations like Toppo using in it the manga against goku, but golden frieza on the other hand matched SSB fine without divine ki. So the type itself doesn't make a difference. That was an upgrade to super saiyan blue by mastering and holding all the ki inside the body. It's not a normal function of SSB but something that's achieved like SSBE.

yeah a lot of plot holes , also ultra instinct like wtf is it now that i think about it , is it a technique , a transformation , a different use of god power . it's base form is above blue kaioken in power and speed so does that mean ui is ssgod with full energy control instead of mixing super sayain with it . SSBE got shit on like we want to give vegeta a new form but we don't wanna make him as cool so just make him more shiny blue and with UE i doubt we will ever see it again . And don't get me started on beast gohan like how tf do you make a guy jump from low ss3 level to peak ui level (speculation but we will see) without training or any real trigger other than he got angry and clutched his ass cheek real hard . @@NeutralGuyDoubleZero

I am definitely thinking that the characters that we end up getting would be up to super broly. Having the the manga stuff (more and after) not being animated yet, its very unlikely we would see characters like ultra ego vegeta or granola for example in the game or maybe they will come up moves from the modded versions of the characters in the other games.

I'm getting that feeling as well. It will likely have major characters from OG Dragon Ball up to Super Broly. The roster is only just a little bigger than Tenkaichi 3's, so I imagine they probably took out some of the inconsequential characters (which I personally think is fine considering the large number of actually important characters we're likely getting). Depending on how long we have before the game comes out they MIGHT squeeze in Super Hero characters at the end, but I wouldn't be surprised if they're DLC. Daima DLC will probably follow after.

@@raekwonchambers2297 Doubtful. If any of the Online/Heroes/Xenoverse cast get put in, it'll be Mira, Towa, maybe Fu, and maybe Supreme Kai of Time as DLC characters. Anything else (like CC/Grand Priest/Xeno Goku) would probably just be an alternate costume included in that DLC or as part of DLC later on.

Id say we can safely round down to a roster of 100 then. DBS and DBZ characters and then their transformations seem to take up different slots. So we can assume there is roughly 64 alternative variants of 100 different characters. That is still a pretty impressive base lineup. Xenoverse is currently sitting at 115, after all dlcs.
