At my local shop, i am the only blue player. There is one yellow player and green androids player. Everyone else is some form of red. When the discussion of bans and restrictions came up last week, everyone brought up sinister sickle, Pilaf, and even xeno. So you know the only cards that counter borde vomit gameplay.

For Kefla I was thinking to remove the draw (since that draw removes the downside of ToPku's ability) but then it would still mess her up for the other leaders.

I was so into this game. I mained red in set 1 and haven’t played a single game as red in set 2. Sad to see how little care went into this. It’s not like they didn’t have the experience to see this coming.

I am going to assume after the regionals on the weekend. So the Monday following the announcement. Also should they affect the 8 drop Broly card as well?

If you compare kefla to the 4 drop 17/18, shes pretty fair. 4 drop 25k that draws and plays top 3 cost, vs 4 card 20k that ramps and plays any 3 cost, but locked to A17. I hate the idea of errata. Maybe they'll ban roshi and ribrianne?

No half measures. If you simply errata the Goku lead and ban Roshi, TOPku/Red in general will still dominate the format, as the TOP engine is way too strong. At my locals, red players have agreed to not play TOPku but Beerus and Zoroku are still way better than any non-red deck thanks to Kefla. The ACTUAL solution is to just ban the TOPku lead and limit or ban Kefla. Roshi wasn’t an issue before TOPku and while the card is maybe a little too good, because it forces bad T1 interaction from your opponent, it’s not the end of the world.

Kefla ban is not a good solution. It kills every red deck. Choice restricting it with the topku leader is a much better solution

I think the only way the leader is balanced is if they errata to cost 2 AND say "non cards". paying anything less than 4 for Kefla is too much. Card is already very strong at costing 4.

y'all have never heard of a choice restriction and it shows. not many vanguard players that also play this game I guess. just choice restrict kefla and the topku leader

It’s only the leader. Errata the leader ability. If any other card in red gets banned or errata, then red just becomes the worst color to play, plain and simple

I, uh, highly doubt red will go from tier 0 to unplayable by banning “1” card. And, if that is true I think you’ve unearthed a bigger issue.

Sadly it looks like an issue as blue cannot outvalue a card that gives them free energy or +1 in hand everyturn. Wouldn't put it past em to hit it as well as 2-3 red cards

I think they ban Ribrianne and Roshi, and limit Kefla to 1. Leader probably won’t be touched.
