The craziest thing about the backstory piece TFS added for 16 is that there actually is a brief moment in original Dragonball where Goku utterly wrecks a building full of people with a Kamehameha during his attack on the Red Ribbon HQ.

Friendly Reminder, Goku made sure to reassure Yamcha that he's his friend after hearing about his suicide in Trunks' Timeline, it even fits how concerned he sounds when he considers that Yamcha may have died after asking "Did somebody die?" that was a pretty nice detail they put there.

Yeah, they even add to Gero's motivation for his hatred of Goku. Making it more than just about destroying the Red Ribbon Army. TFS made Gero's motivation more personal.

Puar didn't find Yamcha hanging from the ceiling. If I recall correctly, Puar IS the rope that Yamcha used to hang himself, or at least that's how I remember it in the Abridged canon.

Mr. Satan is played by AntfishTAS, my favorite abridger. He also played Ginyu and Didoriya in the Namek arc. His JoJo's Bizzare Adventure Abridged (jjbatas) is easily the most underrated, and hilarious, abridged series out there. Just 10 episodes, covering the old OVAs (he was a jojo fan before the modern anime made it popular in the West lol). It's a decade old now, and is peak abridging classic before everyone started making TFS clones or copying purpleeyes.

It's partly fictional. Closest is east Turkestan but in reverse. Unless the episodes are mirrored on anime watching sites than it's exactly the same. I searched the corresponding episode. It's Ep. 173 & yes the flag appears behind Mr. Satan in DBZ as well.
