quick fact on the bardock scientist joke so back in the 90’s there was an attempt to dub dbz in english by a group called ocean dub (or something like that), in that dub when vegeta is fighting goku, vegeta says that bardock was a brilliant scientist, i saw your confused faces when the joke was told so i kinda wanted to clarify 😅

Well if Bardock invented a new attack or something, or invented something like the false moon that Sayian's use to go ape, then I can see why they call him a scientist. The bar is very low. Heck he could be considered a scientist if he beat up some alien nerds and enslaved them to work for him in making stuff for the Saiyans. I can see several ways he could be considered a 'scientist' in the loosest possible terms, or a Saiyan equivalent.

I love how it seems like the writers were very creative with using the animations of the characters to make the story. Like with Vegeta and all the shots of him with bewilderment and freaking out on his knees so they write him like he is frozen with astonishment at how awesomely powerful but also stupid Broly is.

I wish I could track down the livestream but I remember when this first came out Takahata101 was talking about how Vegeta's existential crisis was mirroring the creators initial reactions to when they saw Broly. He looks so cool, but his story is so god damned dumb that they just ended up looking for as many ways to mock him. He also mentioned personally liking Bio-Broly, as he felt the movie just shits on Broly.

There are actual images where people tricked other people by showing them pictures of 'Goku' & 'Adult Gohan', only to then show that they were actually pictures of Tien with their hair or just images of Yamcha with his scars photoshopped out.

His art style is very, distinct. So, it's pretty limited because of that. You can see characters designed by others imitating his art style, and they look like DBZ characters. I remember one character looked like 17, but with purple hair and a different outfit. Can't remember what RPG it was for, but it was official art work.

speaking about the whole copyright situation, people get really confuse. no mater what reactions DO NOT fall under fair use they just don't. i would also like to specify that i actually watch and enjoy reaction channels, but i know how the law of it is stated. it does not matter how long you put in as reactions aren't transformative no matter how look at it the main meat of a reaction video is the actual source. commentary channel are fair use as the main part is not the source material but the added on jokes/review/commentary on the topic. and TFS 100% WITHOUT A DOUBT falls under fair use as it is a parody therefore making it, its own thing so in that regard screw Toei

In this movie, he goes SSJ and starts walking towards Goku while Vegeta attacks Broly with a kick and a Ki Blast in SSJ. Broly then goes LSSJ right after. DBS Broly fights as SSJ but obviously that DBS Broly, not this movie Broly.

I really did enjoy seeing the TFS Broly move for the first time, though I’ve always had, in my mind, a better scenario to explain Broly’s hatred for Goku as opposed to”crying for 3 hours”. Basically, some time after Broly & Paramus make their escape, they learn that Frieza was defeated by Son Goku (Kakarot). This shocks Paragus, but enrages Broly since the Legendary Super Saiyan was said to be the warrior that would avenge the Saiyans’ home world being destroyed. In a way, Goku took Broly’s honor and title and this would be what motivates Broly to kill Kakarot. It’d connect with the series lore and give a more understandable backstory other than, “Baby crying hurty my ears!”

When Goku re-met Chi Chi at the World Martial arts tournament (I think in the last or 2nd to last arc in the original Dragonball), she was mad that A) he didn't remember her immediately, and b) that he had also forgotten his promise to marry her. He remembered her, but thought "Marriage" was a food. So it follows that he also thinks "Divorce" is a food! TFS made a joke alluding to this with Vegeta when the question of marriage between him and Bulma came up and he said something like "What is that, some kind of food?"
