I came to accept the fact that we are never having a season 4 of DBZA a few years ago. What I love about the Buu Bits is that it's like we got a DBZA Kai video from a parallel universe where they did get a season 4. I just rewatched the series back in january with my sister after following the original releases since 2012 and it was a blast. I don't need the feel to ever rewatch Dragon Ball. I'll keep the memories and nostalgia of watching it as a kid, but I can watch Abridged in place of it. I cried a few times while watching TNM review of the series ngl

I remember the times leading up to the conclusion of the Cell saga and thinking, “They’ve been slowing their upload a lot even thought their quality is peak it feels like they are done with this” then the final 3 cell episodes and they were like “ok we taking a short break then we go into Buu saga” and I was relieved and excited, then they hit with the “We are burned out and don’t want to do this anymore, sorry everyone” and I felt super disappointed. But I’m happy that we got these shorts considering how needlessly LONG the Buu saga is and in a way maybe it’s its own joke that it gets cut down into these bits. I’m not expecting them to do any more like GT or more of Super at this point, maybe a bit about super but think they are done doen.

I quite enjoyed totally not mark's review and these "buu bits" as the kids call them. I still won't let go of the disappointment that came with the reveal that there was in fact no season 4 but it makes it feel a little better. At least they did the final explosion the exact way I thought they would. Wonderful little video hidden

fun fact despite buu's fury being the third installment of legacy of goku it's named differently from the first two games that's because of legacy of goku 1 when that game came out it sold really well because dragon ball but then it quickly spread how much of a shit game it was. When legacy of goku 2 came out it sold worse then the first one did because people thought the second installment would suck like the first one did to avoid this when they made legacy of goku 3 they decided to call it buu's fury so people would give it a chance and not slander it because of legacy 1

To me, the buu bits are the best thing to come out of 2023 but at the same time it also seemed like an abridged version of the abridged series. Also TFS Sharpner is definitely one of the best

What I think people should do is a Decent Abridged group (yes they still exist) should try their hand at doing the Buu Saga themselves and use the Buu Bits as inspiration. That way it can still have a TFS feel but also have some new ideas thrown in and TFS isn't being forced to do work they don't want to do.

I felt that they were rusty as hell, and it all was rough, minus any Majin Vegeta, that felt as good as their prime. Some of their call backs felt forced, and the Gohan one is immidiately followed with him getting strangled and tainted by Buu, so I couldn’t even feel proud of my boy. I think it’s best they’re done.

I would like to recommend you stop with all your TFS references in your videos. I literally couldn't watch more than 3 of your videos because there were so many of them. Not everybody in the fandom likes TFS. The humor is being forced down my throat. I'm here to learn about Dragon Ball content, not have cringey jokes from a parody series that disrespected it's own fans (TFS promised to make the Buu saga and more movies. Instead they canceled the entire series and ran off with the thousands of dollars people gave them through patreon. The reason people gave them money through Patreon in the first place is because they wanted TFS to make more episodes and movies but no they chickened out and ran off with all the money given to them by fans who wanted more content) constantly being referenced. TFS boo, you suck. Imagine being a TFS fan and you donate a few hundred dollars to their patreon in generous anticipation of them making the Boo saga and more movies but instead they cancel the entire series and pocket your money you gave them. What scumbags. They also started taking themselves too seriously. Towards the end of the Cell saga in DBZ Abridged, they started making some of the show serious. Very, very cringey. TFS is a parody channel, not an actual dub. Every time you put a TFS joke in your video, it reminds me of those greedy bastards and I instantly turn off the video. I'm sure there are plenty more people in the fandom who dislike TFS as much as I do. So you should probably stop with the random references. They aren't relevant to what you are saying in your video and most importantly of alll they aren't funny. I swear you reference TFS in almost every video you make and it in return it makes your videos look more unprofessional and of lower quality. Sorry if this offends you. Just some honest constructive criticism.

It was really hard to rewatch DBZA w/ a friend recently (saiyan through frieza sagas) with an overwhelming amount of jokes based on queerphobia, sexism, and sexual violence. The comedy highs are very high, and the lows were genuinely hurtful in some cases. I know it was a different time, but it's pretty much impossible to ignore the bad taste jokes w/o nostalgia goggles, intentional insensitivity, or critical discussions afterward.

I would recommend the Creator Commentary videos TFS have been doing over on their other channel FourStarBento if you haven't watched them. They often address and directly apologize for a lot of those early problematic jokes in those first 2 seasons.

One critique of your channel is that you used DBZA clips too much in your videos. Now, onto the topic of the video, I was disappointed by Buu Bits because there’s a lot of the clips they did that are just fine. Other then Vegeta’s sacrifice, Goku turning Super Saiyan 3 and the Spirit Bomb, nothing measures up to the quality of the Frieza and Cell Arcs. Plus, their interpretation of Sharpner is fucking hideous. That stereotype is not funny and has been played out for far too long.
