Just to answer a couple of questions, the capital H is typically used when referring to God, the lots of shame comment was referring to letting Icarus fulfill his Maron fantasies, the permission to die comment was in reference to Bane from the Batman movie (hence the mask). Also not sure if someone’s answered this since you started reacting to the movies, but the whole reason why things look like they’re kinda ripping off the anime is mostly because the movies were made to promote the anime and manga at the time when they were airing. Like Lord Slug was the first half of the Freiza arch and Coolers movie was the 2nd half

When the movie first came out with a American rock soundtrack there was cool thing they did when Cooler and Goku went into the water to fight (at the point 12:55 was at), the music actually lowered a bit and then rose again when a blast was shot out of the water, lowered back down when the view went back to under the water and then rose back up when the fight went back out from under the water.

In case anyone needs a reminder, Team Four Star absolutely hates Icarus. With this movie they obviously couldn’t remove him entirely, but making Goku eat Icarus at the end just shows how much they loathe that dragon. See also: Icarus being turned into dragon soup in “Lord Slug” and his decapitated head during Gohan’s drug trip in “The Dead Zone”.

6:15 - The Harmony Gold dub of Dragon Ball had atrocious localization. It renamed a bunch of characters, including naming Korin as "Whiskers the Wonder Cat." There are a lot of those jokes throughout the Abridged movies (and some in the main series) referencing various horrible dubs (and there have been a lot), although they sail right over your head if you're not familiar with DB lore. Seriously, the TFS staff are MAJOR Dragon Ball buffs. They know pretty much everything there is to know about the series, inside and out. It's *royally* impressive.

Since Gohan is like 5 to 6 years ago he still has it. 4:20 yes this is after his battle with Frieza. 6:38 because Coller henchmen will detect him with their scouters. 13:48 in case you didn't get that reference that's a line the shredder likes to use when he fights the ninja turtles. You should watch teenage mutant ninja turtles the 80s show, the 90s movie, the 2003 show, the 2012 show and rise of the ninja turtles

It's not about age actually. The tails just stopped growing because they were not longer relevant to the plot and we as the audience were never given an actual explanation until very recently. The game DBZ Kakarot has a subquest after the Namek saga about Gohan asking himself why his tail hasn't grow back yet, and after investigating he comes to the conclusion that as his power grew so much during Namek, his normal state surpassed the power he had the last time he used the Great Ape transformation and as such, his body saw the transformation (and by extension the tail) was unnecessary and that's why it didn't grow back.

Tails grow back when the plot needs it. Not entirely true but they do grow back seemingly at random. Honestly its a wonder why Goku's never returned so it must have something to do with growing. My head cannon is the tail will regrow as long as the saiyan is still growing

“Grab a Snickers” is also a callback to when Goku fights Freeza as a Super Saiyan and says “I’m going to break you, like a Kitkat bar”. Because Freeza and Cooler are the same so Goku treats them the same lol

The most common theory why Goku fights without Super Saiyan for the most part in this movie is because it is an alternate universe where he defeated Freeza with the spirit bomb. He basically couldn't do it yet and had to unlock Super Saiyan here for the first time.

Even some of the jokes are a copy of Frieza's. Like for example Cooler says he'll dine on monkey soup, and Frieza says that Goku is super sayian soup when he plunges him into the lava. And when Goku goes super sayian he tells Frieza he'll break him like a kitkat bar, then tells Cooler that he should grab a snickers.

I think with the Super Saiyan thing, since this is basically placed right after Namek in the movie canon, Goku hasn't had time to hone the transformation like he did in the main series, hence why he doesnt just use it.
